Default "WRX" Fender Badge Inlay?

I've been looking for months to find a vinyl inlay for my 2012 WRX aluminum fender badge. I've seen people paint them, and even make them light up. But is there a vendor for the vinyl?

I don't think there are any vinyl inlays for them. Only options you have really are to buy a piece of vinyl and wrap it yourself, paint, plastidip, or there are some aftermarket black "sti" ones on rallysportdirect for like 80 bucks. I personally plastidipd mine. Looks good and is reversible.

Good idea, I didn't think about plasti dip. I was really just wanting the letters black, but I'd be down to try plasti dip. My car is silver so you can't see the badges.

Will it peel out of the lettering and crevasses easily?

If you decide to wrap with vinyl, use a heat gun to mold the vinyl into the inlay on the badge.

Yes it's very easy to plasti dip the badges just tape off a square around the letters spray onto letters and overspray onto car. Then use a toothpick to trace around the letters and then carefully pull off plasti dip that was on the paint of your car. Also don't forget to use newspaper and spray a few coats so its easy to peel!

I don't think Plastidip will work on your fender piece because the letters are inset and not raised.

I'm trying to find it for you, but I know I ran into a company selling them. I was searching for emblem overlays on Google. If I find it again, I'll post for you.

Well, I can't decide if I want a plasti dip black emblem with red letters, or the factory silver with black letters. I bought both black and red letters lol. My car is silver so you can't even see the emblems right now. I have red calipers with black "wrx" on the fronts, so the black and red emblem may go well with it.
