Default 5mm spacers..

I have a 18x7.5 EVO 5 Enkei. I was wondering if I can still get away using 5mm spacers with my stock lugs and my stock bolts?

Thx

u should be fine with 5 mm spacers on stock studs. the lugs will depend on the wheel itself i believe.

That's not true.... 5mm spacers are pushing it. 3mm or 1/8" spacers are pretty much your only choice if you really want to be safe. Subaru-specific 5mm spacers come with studs.

unless the 04 comes with longer studs stock than my 02 I would NOT, NO WAY run a 5mm spacer without fitting longer studs... I could only get about 3 turns on the stock studs with a 5mm spacer

Is it worth having your wheels fall off? I'd definitely install them.

It depends on how many turns you can get away with on your stud. If you can geto 8-9 full turns on the stud you're ok.

People forget the depth of the rim center (or where the stud goes through at each hole) varies from each wheel so a 5mm can sometimes be used, sometimes it can't.
