Default Going to Germany, anyone want anything?

I'll be visiting Germany this coming week. Saturday to Saturday. I already promised Kraig (kraigt) that I'd bring him back a GT2 in my pocket. I'll be visiting the VW factory/autostadt and the Porsche factory and museum. Then spending Wed through Friday with my brother in Berlin, as he is there for school.

Anyone been there? recommendations? I am not 25 yet, so I can't rent a car (a worthwhile one anyway) to drive on Green Hell or "ze autobahn". And I can not afford another ticket on mein Porsche.... I mean Subaru. Unfortunately, due to this limitation, I am spending the first day in Zuffenhausen (Porsche territory), the next two days in Wolfsburg (VW), and then the following 3 in Berlin. So suggestions of "You should go to the Nurburgring!" or "Go to Munich to BMW!" are not really warranted. Also, look at a map. Munich is not really close to Zuffenhausen or Berlin. It's a little out of the way.

hey loyale youll have a great time. ive been to germany about 8 times in my 22 years on this earth. Germany is a great place. its very clean and everyone there but the teenagers are extremly professonal. go to a few beer halls for sure, those are pretty good.
My GF lives right by Munich, thats a great bavarian city. its not that far from berlin and you can take a train to see it and see the awesome country side in the process, i would definatly suggest it. Nuremburg isnt that far from munich either, so you could go there while your in the area.
2 weeks is plenty of time to see most of the country. have fun
im back in germany in april

Sweet area. Bring lots of space on the digi cards for pictures at the porsche museum/factory. Really nice area if you're into photography. Beer is great. Venison is really tender and cheaper than steak. DON'T eat breakfast in the hotel... find a local bakery.. they're everywhere. Shops close early so bank on having your shopping done before 5. Dinners are a full night affair. The table is yours for as long as you want to sit there. You WILL have to ask for the check. Stay out of the American bars, they're trendy at best. And for chrissake don't get coffee from the chain stores (Starbucks, etc... )

Fitz

PS. Strip clubs are full contact... at least in the red light district in Stuttgart. Ask around elsewhere.

the blonde... why is everyone all about the blonde? sure, she has huge turbo chargers, but the one on the end is the one you want. She's the one actually enjoying her beer. my kind of woman!

I have a 4GB card to take pictures with. that should be plenty. It claims like thousands of pictures at the highest resolution and size. Should be good. I'll take plenty at both VW and Porsche factories. I'll see if I can find some "stupid t-shirt" shirts. If they're cheap, I might get a bunch for WBM.

No time for love, DR Jones... er, Fitz. much of my time will be exploring the cities and traveling from place to place.

Satan, I have told my brother about the place, he's looking it up so we can go visit. WE'll be looking for some places for a full evening to have turkey day dinner.
