ok i go there to see if they could help me with my new brakes and what do i get? a whole load of slack.. first the guy forgets about me and doesn't even return to the counter. Next the guy calls another guy over to chuckle at the fact that i upgraded my brakes. Then they have to go on saying that they probably don't even want to touch my car in fear of the brakes.. i was like umm.. i put on subaru factory parts..They were like it'll probably take 3 hours to bleed them at 78 dollars an hour
HOLY molly i think i can find something to do with 225 with out them helping me.. they had zero respect. well there was this one guy at the audi booth that understood the whole idea about changing the car to suit your personality which is just what i'm doing..

Yea, I have an 03 wrx that i took in there for warrenty work on. And said to say they did a really bad job, first time they said they fixed it and something else on it ended up messing up, took it back and took them another week to fix the problem, and sad to say something is still messed up on it.....plus there sales department is very bad, they try and screw you any way they can, that is my 2 cents.

You should have gone to Perry Subaru.
Yeah, it's further away, but they are actually good and us locals haven't had too many problems with them in the last 2 years or so. Casey.....I could go on all day about. |

So I went to Casey Imports to buy some dealer only parts for another vehicle I own, with my 05 STi.
It's lowered some on Tein springs, and has 18" BBS RE's on it and a full Cobb TB exhaust. Cobb intake, yada yada! The car has never been serviced there once! As I'm leaving some clown comes out of the shop and asks me if this is my vehicle. I answer yes. Now this STi is not hacked, or stickered or anything, all of the Mods are tasteful and carefully done. He goes on to explain that if he were ever to get his hands on my vehicle that I would no longer have a warranty period, completely void. I'm not one to try and get stuff warranted anyway I explained and if something fails due to a mod I'll swallow the cost. I even explained that when I had a rattle under the right rear of the parcel tray I fixed it when the car only had 2,500 miles on it. He stated that if anything ever goes wrong, even the radio, my warranty would be done if this car ever showed it's face at his dealership. Now is this fair?!? I spoke to someone in parts about this later and they told me "You must of run into Doc, he'll take pictures of a intake and send them into SOA to get someones warranty voided especially STi owners" Good to know I said. Word of warning to anyone who plans on going to Casey Imports in Newport News, Virginia don't let Doc work on it even if you only have a K&N filter. The guy is a space case. |

Good 'ol Casey. They are the worst chain of dealers I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

Yeah I visited Casey to buy my STi last year. They were the worst I had ever dealt with. They offered me 16k for my truck and seeing how the KBB trade-in was 21k I laughed and walked out. I went to Richmond to AMoore and got KBB trade in value and a sweet deal on the car. 'F' Casey.

Whoever told you that is a cranky idiot. The ONLY people that can void warranties is SOA and even then they can only deny service on modified parts. The ONLY things that can void your warranty is taking it outside the USA and odometer tampering/cluster swaps. Only go to Perry Subaru....they are great.

Casey Subaru SUCKS do not go there!
I am 50 years old with 35 years of car buying experience and Casey Subaru is the worst I have ever seen. Here is why: 1) They are the only VA dealership that marks up both the WRX and STI $3K-$5K over MSRP 2) They are the only VA dealership that does not post WRX and STI prices on the internet. 3) They treat you like your stupid and use the oldest sales pitches that everyone already knows are BS. 4) You might get a good salesman...but if you do, he will usually hand you off to a trainee who has yellow, broken, rotten teeth (NO LIE), who when you sit there and say "Come on cut out the sales pitch and give me the price", his reply will be "I can see you have alot of car purchasing experience sitting there all tough and cool" LOL! NO LIE Oh, he claimed he sold 2 cars a day, worked there 8 months, yet he didnt know what VA sales tax is. 5) Each salesman will go to their manager 100 times, they cannot do anything themselves. 6) Even if you show a internet print out of a similar car at another VA dealership at a much lower advertised price they will not match it. 7) One of the sales managers is so rude and unprofessional, that I would not buy a car there even if it was free. 8) Not military friendly....they look at the military as young guys with fat wallets with no brains and try to rip them off. |
