------------------Official Hotel Information--------------------
7th Annual Subaru 48hrs of Tri-state Charity Drive January 31, 2008 - February 3, 2008 Lodging: Thursday, Jan 31, 2008 Holiday Inn PHILADELPHIA-CHERRY HILL 2175 WEST MARLTON PIKE CHERRY HILL, NJ 08002 UNITED STATES Hotel Front Desk: 1-856-6635300 Approximately $109-129/night/room Friday, Feb 1, 2008 Cooperstown Bed and Breakfast (Preferred) Cooperstown, NY Contact Singin Canary on NASIOC Lakefront Motel (Alternate) Cooperstown, NY 607-547-9511 Saturday, Feb 2, 2008 Super 8 Motel 2159 Canada Street Lake George, NY 518-668-2470 Approximately $60/night/room The Super 8 has 9 rooms left. All Non-Smoking two double beds. $66.00 + Taxes, You must tell them you are with the Subaru Group, Amy and Jodie have helped us so far Dr. G's Original Message below.... I was waiting sooooo patiently for my cue...thankyou Paisan, my brother from another mother! Well guys, this is "cool guy" aka Dr. G, Dr. G$$$ and most recently, Dr. G-licious (settle doen Ted!). I'm currently looking (wheeling and dealing) on hotel(s) and dinner. We just had elections and all my people won, so they are all in good moods! The winter carnival will be in full swing which means 15-20in of ice and the SCCA ice races! The hotel I'm looking at has fantastic parking, just built 2 yrs ago (so no $hitty beds like Rutland last year), and I know ou guys are cheap so I will work on the best possible price. Basically, everyone will share a room, the price split in half, and wake up knowing that you were not overcharged and ready for a fantastic breakfast. Dinner the night before will be Italian. I will work on a set price for everyone. Any questions??? I didn't think so...now all I have to do is find a new Subie...thanks for buying my old one, Paisan!

Guys, I got some prices on the rooms for Lake George and will be putting th phone number up tomorrow so you can make reservations. For two double beds, $66.00 for the night. $70 for a queen size room. The winter carnival will be in full swing so pray for lots of cold temps so the lake gets really frozen and the SCCA ice racing can take place!!!
Now for dinner...take a poll...italian @ Mario's rest. or general americn @ the olde log inn...let me know and i'll work on a good price. |

Good work Jon! Prices sounds great for the hotel I'll reserve once the phone # is up.
As for food: either place works for me, that doesn't really help you tho . I vote for italian. Only because I'm sure before saturday we'll have enough 'american'/fast/gas-station food.Ian |

Can someone make a list of the hotels we're staying at, the day we'll be there, who to ask for, and the number to call? That would make things much easier. I'd like to be able to go down the list and call them all.
Thanks. |

![]() The Super8 is in the process of some kind of remodeling (according to Amy) so that might be why they aren't answering/taking reservations during the day. Ted if I gotta pay for yours too I'm gonna need to bring more money... ![]() |

Ummmm, I just realized that you reserved 25 rooms, and that appears to be all the rooms they have! Someone mentioned that before but I thought it was a joke!

i dont think we need 25 rooms.....
15 max unless there is a super huge turnout this year and everyone wants their own room. the only benifit to having the whole place will be the late night card games, booze and naked women (wishful thinking) wouldnt get us kicked out. |

They also have great rates at Wingate by Wyndham Lake George, same price for a 3* hotel vs. the 2* Super 8 (based on expedia pricing anyway).
Maybe the Super 8 is closer to bars or something? Mike, where did you want to do dinner Friday and Sunday nights? What info do you need for Cooperstown? |
