I'm not saying they are terrible. I would have taken then off if I thought so. It's just that when I am commuting to work in the middle of the night with nothing to concentrate on other than the bouncy ride, it gets really ****ing annoying.

I suppose some of the bounce can be attributed to the large sidewall on my tires (I have 16" wheels), but it shouldn't be this bad.
Update us on your next suspension set up! Unless, your going back to stock.

I just picked up a WRX catback for $20. It was free but I offered cash if the guy met me more locally. I'll post pics once installed!

Hopefully a WRX/STi hood comes my way soon! Wheels will be mounted in the spring I hope. Sport grill and Hellas are going on in about 2 weeks once I get the cash from my old school books.

You know the grommet that your shifter connects to under your car right next to the rear shifter bushings? Mine popped off from the underbody and I figured I could just get at it from inside the car. Well, turns out I can't, now I gotta try to get it back into place but I'm without a lift temporarily. Car is driving fine so hopefully this doesn't affect anything. I just need to make sure I fix it before the snow flies.

And at the guy above^^

I'd wait on it or only install the axle back the SPT is a 3" exhaust and you'll loose some low end torque.

Good to know man let us know what your replacement is for them so I can get a decent set up in my ride. Glad you said that before I ordered a set.

Or you could find a used WRX OEM catback for dirt cheap like I did.

Hey guys I'm about to get my hands on a rear swat bar. Its from an 08 STI. Bar and endlinks for only 50 bucks. I should have it Sunday. Hopefully it will fit. I did a little research and it should, at least that's what I read.

All I need now is new springs and struts and my suspension is done. If I can get my hands on a rear strut bar it'll be nice too

Make sure you get some rear swaybar clamps. 3 bux each or so.

Stupid question but why should I get them? I thought just the endlinks were enough

Here's a pic. The golden part is the clamps/brackets (2 needed Subaru part #20466FG000) to hold the bar. Don't forget the bolts for brackets (4 needed Subaru part #010108200), too.

Here is the info link from 3gwrx.

Thanks for the photo now I see what you're talking about. Let me PM him to see if he has them I can just get it from him. Or would I need to order a whole new set of them?

I picked my OEM WRX catback for free yesterday, well... I paid the dude $20 for meeting much closer to my town! This weekend it goes on! How loud/quite is it and do you have a sedan or hatch?

I'll be going back to stock for a little while. For a while I had my eyes set on going with a Koni/Ground Control set-up, but that won't go as low as I want either. I was also looking at the Fortune Auto coils. And there is always the BC extreme low coils, I wouldn't mind trying those with a 5k or 6k spring. I think the 8k spring rate is what's making things ****ty.

I have determined that what ever I get is going to have to be a short stroke design which pretty much eliminates most of the nicer sets. I may be contacting Koni and seeing if they can get me a shorter set of shocks and struts as well as talking to Ground Control and seeing if they can get me a shorter option as well.

Also, keep in mind, just because I don't like BC coils doesn't mean you will.

Usually the new bar will reuse the brackets. Very likely that the bar you are getting will have the endlinks attached and the bushings still on it.

In which case you will need the following to put it all on;

Bracket: 20466FG000 (you'll need 2)
Bolts for brackets: 010108200 (you'll need 4)
Bottom nut for endlink: 902350001 (you'll need 2)
Bottom bolt for endlink: 901000221 (you'll need 2)

Just go into the dealership with these part numbers. They should have everything in stock. The total should be about $40.

Hey guys, my TPMS light went on a couple days ago, so I checked all the pressures and everything was fine. Today, the light is still on but all the pressures are the same. Still have the stock wheels and I didn't do anything to them recently. Anyone have an idea about why this is happening?

This, for me, is practically a rite of Fall passage. I notice you are in the north east area, and we've had a bit of a cold snap in the region lately. Every time we have our first cold snap (sub 50-55), I get up in the morning and my TPMS is on. I go overfill the tires by a couple lbs and it's good to go the rest of the time.

Last time I talked to the dealer about it, they said they get a lot of TPMS complaints in the Fall. They said they just over inflate by a small amount to ensure that the contracting cold air doesn't set them off.

If you're positive the pressure is right and you're under warranty, go to the dealer and have them double check. Otherwise, squeeze a little more ain in those things.

Just had to say again, love my car.

We have a bunch of baby goods that no longer fit our toddler and one of our friends is 7 months along so we are passing some things on to them or letting them borrow them.

I went out to my wife's Forester Sunday morning to load everything in knowing the seats would have to go down, but forgot that the new car seat is more of a pain to put in and take out.

So I looked at my car next to it and decided it all would fit also with the seats down. (everything is fully assembled)

2 walker/bouncer play centers
1 standard walker
1 baby swing
1 baby bath tub
1 baby bouncer
random misc small goods

Only had to cheat a little by putting one of the play centers in the passenger seat.

Sorry no hosting site, so no pics.

Every time I think I can fit something into my car, I do. I love that.

I just spoke with the guys at RalliTEK and they said "we no longer have the 08-11 non turbo Impreza sway bar kits because were doing some work to the design. It could be a couple of months before we have them". So then i asked him if they were going to discontinue the sway bars for the N/A impreza's and he said " that i do not know".

Just a heads up.

Just a heads up.

It could always mean they are improving the bars instead of permanently discontinuing. as long as there is a demand there will be money made.

and thanks guys for the part numbers and prices as well. I will let you guys know how it goes.

Hopefully they put out the design soon. I just asked out of curiosity if they were going to discontinue

Cheers
