You notice the thread about it? I like it with my mustache grill more but with the sport mesh it still looks pretty BAMF.
Also, paint your grill !!!!

hey hows everybody been??!!! long time since ive posted in here. Over the past few months my car has taken a dramatic turn lol. I blew my throw-out bearing (riding my clutch??) and when the t.o.b exploded, it took out my entire clutch assembly and cracked my tranny housing. CRAZY RIGHT??? long story short, after a week of dealing with a really shady transmission shop, the car is back in my hands with a new (used unit w/less miles) transmission/clutch assembly the car runs ok and hopefully I wont have to start car shopping. any idea why my throw out bearing went out? the p.o.s shop it was at couldnt give me a straight answer. It ate the entire pressure plate in the process. my car has 62k and I do not race it i will post up pics of the damage to the old parts later

Here are some new pics.

Hanging with some friends...

new perrin radiator shroud.

new transmission, what. a. shame.

im considering selling the car and getting a 11' wrx or brz.
i know it drives fine, but i dont feel like itll ever be the same again.

Dude I want a BRZ so bad now since I saw one up close at the auto show. I might be able to get one next year. And you live in Florida so I'd say get it.

wow that sucks man, I honestly have no clue but now that I think about it my car is starting to make a weird metal sound at idle like from valvetrain system or something and my car has only 20k miles on it
I must say that tranny looks promising -if only it was a 6speed...even though it wouldnt really make that much of a difference lol.

Or just take them out and replace them with Halogens so you're not blinding everyone

That's what I thought, but I emailed technafit and 1 person said they have one but they only have an internal number not a product number and someone else said they have nothing to fit my car... I asked for a 2008 2.5I not a wrx or anything

I'm gonna let Jourdan chime in on that. But you really shouldn't have anything to worry about. As long as the cops have no reason to check under the hood then your fine. Pheezy got pulled because of the exhaust, and that gave probable cause to look under the hood. Plus being in the meet with stupid ppl revving and doing burnouts. If your car is parked there and off there's no reason for them to look. (unless YOU popped the hood voluntarily)

That pretty much covers it. There's not specific law against a hybrid intake (I'm still sifting through the vehicle code). From the gyst of the CVC, it is illegal to tamper (modify) anything that deals with emissions and smog. A hybrid intake retains the factory filter, filter location, MAF sensor, and MAF sensor location. In theory, there's nothing illegal about it. However, more other than not, if a cop pops your hood and sees something shiny, they're going to give you a ticket.

I assume you guys are talking about Saturday... Now you know why I left when I did. It's not that I know I will get a ticket, I'd rather not run the risk by staying.
