Well, someone is if they chose Subaru for their fleet. I really doubt Subaru was the lowest bidder.

But the total ownership to enthusiast ratio is much lower for the 2.5i than it is for the STi.

3000k has the most lumens but the yellow isnt that great for your eyes. 4300k (oem) is 'daylight' 6000k is acceptable and anything above that is for looks. Lots of info online about the topic!

White is better. Blue will put more strain on your eyes. As you get closer to white, the light output is also higher. That being said, I have 8.

Yellow will put you to sleep. But it's great for white weather like rain, snow, and fog. With yellow light you can see the contours of white objects. Why most fog lights are yellow.

I have 3000k Hell 500FF's and they work great in the rain/fog, have yet to use them in the snow but my last car had yellow tinted halogens and they did a great job in the snow!

I think that's up for debate. I personally think the pure white color will make it better too see. And i have to agree anything over 6000k is just for looks.
Jourdan- I definitely agree on the ratio comparison. It's just some people are just so stupid sometimes....

Ughhh, While I was at the store today somebody's shopping cart decided to roll into my car and cracked my passenger side tail light. Would I be able to just replace the glass or do I have to replace the whole thing?

^^ I also have a crack in one of my tail lights and I wanted to replace it but I believe you need to replace the entire thing from my research.

if anyone else knows something different please chime in!

I would assume you would just replace the entire housing as sourcing parts from a tail light might be kinda tough..

My guess would be since they are a good mix between reliable, versatile (with the AWD), (relatively) affordable, and all while maintaining decent gas mileage. Though I may be biased

Inexpensive and AWD prolly has something to do with it, and they didn't want the SX4.
