Check your local Frys or Best Buy or Electronics store.. I got a decent Video converting system for free after rebates.

It'll bolt to the bottom end but the turbo headers turn up. The flange needs to be cut, rotated, and extended to work. They're a few threads about it somewhere!

Hey guys, any one here with an 08 swap out the rear drums to discs? I've tried searching on here and google but have came to dead ends. Looking for specific part numbers and/or which parts. I can then go to the dealership and order them. Any help appreciated thanks!

Yesterday I replaced my front rotors with some Powerslot slotted rotors and some stop tech pads. Feels great!

If memory serves me right, someone did it or was planning to do swap out to discs way earlier in the thread, id say about 2-3months ago. Maybe he will see your thread, and post.

But he asked the same question and I posted this link:
http://www.rs25.com/forums/f105/t144...onversion.html

Might help you get somewhere. Good luck

I was but I got a set of BC 's....haven't had time to slap them on yet though. My car is down for now cuz I hit a median and dented the driver side wheels . I put the spate doughnut on but the tire went flat cuz it chewed up the shoulder tread. Screwed up alignment maybe or bent control arm? Idk, haven't had the time to get under and check

What type of master cylinder brace would you guys recommend? I was looking at perrin, since i've been buying stuff from them and their quality so far has been pretty good. any of you guys have one?

This morning, an idiot driver made me use my brakes to the point where my car tires lost traction and i started to skip a little. (even with ABS)
But i stopped faster than the Tsx behind me , thankfully he swerved to the shoulder or i would of had another hole in my bumper

I felt how smushy the brakes were, and i wanted to change it asap.

I know a wrx caliper swap is possible too, so i'd also like to hear a little more from people who have did it (and yes, i know there was a post earlier)

I got the grimmspeed Master cylinder brace and that helped pedal feel significantly. But again that was only the firmness of the pedal. If anything you should upgrade either your pads/tires to ultimately stop in a shorter distance. I would recommend hawk hps pads if you were to head that route since its somewhat cheaper than tires. I'd say the hps pads are about 30% more aggressive than oem and if you match these pads with any Mastercylinder brace I think you will be satisfied. Plus grimmspeed's brace is somewhat cheaper then perrin's along with a different design. On a sidenote I dont like perrin's brace because it seems like it mounts farther away if you compare the two but they both serve their purpose. Hope this helps.

The wrx caliper swap Isnt really a caliper swap it's just the bracket that holds the caliper on so you use the wrx rotor which is I think 11 inches where as the 2.5 is like 10. Something

I second the grimmspeed one. Excellent products and they're local so I have to support them .
