You could build the motor with high compression pistons, aggressive cams, port/polish, valve job, etc... All to *maybe* break 170awhp

Not worth it. If you want power, sell yours and get a wrx. Its cheaper and more possibilities for more power.

if you want to keep the car that bad, look into suspension mods: coilovers, sway bars, etc. The car will WAY handle better than it already does and thusly be more fun to drive.

^ also invest in some light weight wheels (ie. 17x8 Enkei RPF-1's) with like a 225/45 summer tire

Anyone ever try to trade in a vehicle that you're making payments on? I got my scoober out of luck, being this or an altima. Obviously I would love to have a different car (sti) but beggars can't be choosers. To my knowledge whatever it's traded in for, your remaining balance on the trade in tacks on to the new one, am I correct?

Yes, my mom just did this. The took the amount she owed after trade in and added it to her new vehicle and financed the whole thing. Not the greatest idea if what you have is in good condition and payments are easy.

That is called being upside down on your loan. Always pay more on your payment and you should never have this problem. It's also a good idea to know the value of your car vs. how much you still owe.

No necessarily. Being upside down is when you owe more than what it's worth. If you get more than you owe on the trade, you shouldn't be upside down.

Exactly, if she traded in the vehicle and got say 9k, yet she owes 12k.. That's called being upside on her loan. Either that or she took a bad offer. Tacking on what you owe, whether it be $500 or $5,000 to a new loan is a bad idea.

Two front colors and two rear? Or how do you plan on doing the two colors?

I would just do black all around. I don't think white looks the greatest on silver.

Not sure, we have the ej253 SOHC engine while the 2.5rs is quad cammed. Maybe an STi cam would work but I couldn't say for sure.

How much was that? Do they stock cores, or do you have to send yours in first?

They had the cores in stock, once i'd installed the new ones, I sent my old ones back to them for a refund.
I can't remember the exact price, but once i'd got the core refund it cost around $250.
