It's actually a really nice 2.5i other than all that crap all over it.. and the fact that it is an auto.. If it was a 5 speed it would be great as far as 2.5i's go.

No, you don't need a tune, just bolt them on and enjoy that Subaru rumble!

+35 will (at stock height with no camber) not sure about +42 but I have 18x8.5 +35 and they stuck out until I lowered the car on coilovers and have about 2.5 deg neg camber.

This. I think the +35 will poke at stock ride height. I have 17x8+35 and I have maybe about a half inch left before they are perfectly flush on a minimal drop.

It'll sit flush up front on the lower offset side and the rear will poke slightly.

Okay good lol I was a bit worried because I want as little poke as possible. At the same time I want a lower offset. Lastly a 235 on a 9in rim wouldnt create much of a stretched look would it? As im trying to avoid that too. Thanks for all the helpz!!

The stretch would be extremely negligible. What suspension are you on?

No tune required, our ECU works works like AI, to an extent. Our computers will learn and make slight adjustments. My car idled a little low when coming to a stop on clutch in. But after 20 min of driving I started seeing better mpg numbers than stock. I also have a magnaflow CBE that I installed same time as headers.

Sweet! Look for an 8.5 wide with an offset of 35+ You should be able to fit those with a 235 tire, without modding the fenders.
