I tried doing my oil pressure gauge today and when i tried getting though the firewall the wire can't get through it. There's like this rubber slit there after the firewall but i cant seem to slip it in. Any one?

Cut a slit in the big rubber grommet or remove it, run the wire through, then reinstall the grommet.
On the driver side their is about a 1" hole in the firewall I used for wiring my subwoofer.

You didn't have any trouble going through the firewall?

Not at all! Their is a few holes in it already that enter by the driver side. They're covered with large rubber grommets but they pop out fairly easy. Just run the wires through and pop the rubber piece back in place

It's funny you guys mention this. I tried routing a harness in my friends rsx (aftermarket fog lights) through the steering rack area and it was literally impossible haha.

What's the best bushing to install on our cars?

Will be doing Rallitek F/R sways and endlinks at the same time.

Shifter bushings for the most drastic change.

Dipyourcar.com (or something similar to that)

Otherwise, take note cards and place them around your wheel between the rim and tire. Then spray in light layers. Roughly 3-4 layers. Extremely easy to use. You can do it without the cards also. Reason being is that it peels off if you don't like it.

This. Also paper plates seem to work as well, maybe even painters tape? I actually "dipped" my cars roof recently. Should have pics up tomorrow

How many cans did you use to dip your roof?

I would say at least 2, roughly. I started using one but it started spraying out blobs of plastidip at a time rather than a nice even spray so I used three cans but two of which have 1/4 left lol. It looks decent far away but I need to do a few more coats as the coverage isn't as good as I would prefer. Maybe ill attempt to it if it stops raining

As promised. Looks decent from far away, but as you can see in the second and last picture, the coats are not very even

The forums. if you have any questions there are plenty of knowledgable people here! But as for as a book, I haven't seen anything out there, maybe ask the dealer or Subaru of America.

Thanks man! It's still not quite finished IMO. Also you can always give it a shot. Being plastidip, just take it off when your done lol.

Could tell you had good form in the second pic, very linear lol. Does look good from far. I would probably want to gloss it ,but with my experience, peeling it off is a real PITA.

Wait....didn't you have enkeis? Lol

thanks. I tried my best but even though I'm 6' it was still a challenge hah. Yeah I was thinking that as well but I'm still not sure whether I like it or not. So are you saying once you add a gloss layer to the dipped layer, it doesn't want to peel off as easily?

For those with the 4EAT, is there anyway to make the auto shift faster in Drive?

I feel like when im driving around, and use "D", instead of sport mode, the gears seem to hold on, and don't want to shift to the next gear. It's quite annoying as this alone usualy makes the car shift at 4-5k...

Is there anyway to make the system shift faster?

Thanks
