Clip was recorded using Iphone with a case on it. Sunny day in Canada, -12c/ 10f. Fist one is a cold start, first start of the day after -22c last night. Revs are nothing to big, 2500, 3 something and a 5 something.

Sellars, you inspired me to do a video of my exhaust. LOL

Cold start 10 degrees F. Car idols at 1,500k when cold. I revved to 3k and let it drop down to 1k. Then off and on again.

I just listened to it with my computer speakers, it doesn't sound like that in person. It's no surprise coming from an iPhone, better than nothing

Just the 4, the case I have on it makes it hard for people to hear what I'm saying on the phone, I can only imagine how it effects video audio.

I have buddy with a professional recording mic for song writing I might use. It plugs into a laptop that I'll set up on the street for some drive by's.

Bad thing about electronics and sound, is recording is a big part of quality, but the speaker that it gets played through can very from one set of speakers to another. Think about the difference of your iPhone speaker and your car audio speakers. So if someone says that it still doesn't sound right, it is probably what speakers they are hearing it through.

What are you talking about? I'm just curious as to what mic his friend has. He said its a "professional mic plugged into a laptop" which leads me to believe it is USB based. I curious about this because I am heavily into recording and audio production.

I had the same problem with my feet slipping off the pedals when it rained. I ended up putting skateboard grip tape on the pedals. You can get it for really cheap, it gives you much better grip, and its black so no one will notice its there

It's an older version of the Yeti USB microphone made by Blue Microphones. It's $170 from the apple store.

Maybe not "professional" but more than anything I would ever buy for putting together some home made songs with friends.

I have pretty good speakers as well. I've played the clip through my Polk sound system connected to to television and my Logitech THX certified 2.1 computer speakers.

I'm by no means an audiophile but completely agree with what you're saying. The sound quality most definitely lacks due to the iphone mic, and probably a bit to close for that db level.

Haha I actually have a sheet of grip tape sitting in my trunk. I would like to swap the pedals but alot of the aftermarket ones just look horrid.

So in my journey of changing my interior from hideous tan to black I decided to spray the center console. I had a little over a half can left of my plasti-dip laying around.

Here's stock:

Painted with 3-4 coats:

Installed:

It still needs to be touched up in a few areas. Overall I am extremely happy with this. It sure beats the $60 I could have spent on a real black one given that this holds. I will be buying a black e-brake though as I won't be able to spray the boot. I will also be getting some black with red stitching alacantra from JPM Coachworks for the shifter and e-brake.
