Yeah, they love their salt here... FML. And yes, thanks too you I now know that if I can source a used OEM WRX sedan exhaust that someone took off who upgraded theirs, I would be glad to buy it. Now it's just a waiting game. Or, cough up $400 for the Tsudo system... but that is Option #2. Thank you.

personally, i'd say even if you get an aftermarket exhaust the salts will still get through the stainless steel.

Theoutbackdream, thank you! You have been great help in my current noob status. I found someone selling a 2012 WRX sedan OEM exhaust local to me. I wonder if it will still work on a 2008 car.

No problem! Just know that the 2012 WRX uses a quad tip, dual exit. You may have fitment issues due to the quadtip, but IMO, id contact seller and see how much hes asking and then make your move from there. Worst that ends up happening is you needing to buy extended hangers.

Also found 2011 stock suspension off an STI for sale cheap, locally. Only have a few thousand miles on it. I guess i'll start researching if that will fit on a 2008 2.5I.

See, with Audi's I know what parts can be interchanged between different year platform cars... Subaru, I have no clue what parts will work together from different generations or not!

Why not just get a custom piping muffler delete for probably under $100. Its louder than stock

STI suspension won't fit! The knuckle is larger to accommodate the bigger wheel hubs. 09+ WRX is good to go! 2008 will work but it's soft. Look into adding a rear sway bar!

I'm guessing I can ride out the winter. It is pressing, but no melting yet, I'm guessing the cool weather. I do plan on the hangers soon though.

Ah I know, i've been reading this in all my searches on NASIOC. I'm really on a tight budget purchasing this as my DD and keeping my Audi as the car i'll be throwing mod money at.

I'm only 22, paying for both vehicles myself including mods isn't exactly easy. I just want the basic stuff to get the Subaru in tip top shape first.

Holy crap I do not see the Front and rear ant-sway bar kit on Rallitek for the 2.5i anymore.. Just the front. It's not out of stock- it just is not listed anymore.

I've got a stock '11 WRX rear sway on my '08 OBS - most of the parts on our cars are interchangeable.

I guess they figure any wrx RWS will work? I guess that is the reason they stopped selling the full kit- but that sucks, it was a nice kit. Glad I got mine last year.

Also...
I do not see the rear end links anywhere either. Those are really nice and a good deal. I hope mine never break or wear out, I cannot get a replacement now.

You know Whiteline also makes bars for our cars right?

And it's really not that hard to get all the OEM hardware and install any rear bar.

They run out of stock occasionally and take it off the page. Happened to me 2 years ago. Give it a few months or go perrin/whiteline. The wrx fits u just need the mounting brackets n bolts. Correct me if I'm wrong lol.

Okay so since i've always loved the Rota Grids, was my plan a few years ago for my Audi but now that an Impreza is in my sights, plan on doing 17x9 Rota Grids in Gold on a Newport Blue 2.5I. Question for you guys, anyone have pictures of Grids on a base Impreza 2.5 and what is the ideal offset for sitting flush with the fenders? 17x9, +35ET or 42ET? I plan on purchasing from this vendor.

Yup, go with the 42. The front may need a 5-10mm spacer but the rear will look perfect.

I have +35 offset and I think it looks pretty good all the way around. And I don't rub anymore since I'm lowered.
