STi wheels have an offset of 53 or 55 IIRC.

Maybe they used a remanufactured axle. I called my dealer today and he said he could get me a brand new OEM axle for $350

Do some searching.

Most adapters are 25mm thick. That will reduce your final offset by 25mm. If you have 18x8.5+48 on a 25mm adapter it's really 18x8.5+23 and that is a pretty low offset to fit. Unless you get a decently stretched tire or run a lot of camber, I don't think that's going to fit. I don't think I've seen any narrow body 3Gs with wheels in the +20 offset range.
I am going to be honest, and you can have a field day with making fun of me or whatever haha but I am new to all these type of modding, and I don't know what all of those numbers mean, I know that the 18 is the size(diameter) of the wheel correct? like I don't know what offset means or what the 8.5+48 means... sorry I am not that knowledgeable on this subject.

This is what ripped open my cv boots got that low by removing 2 locking collars and dropping coilovers all the way down. Though i wouldn't have done it if i had known the cv boots are non-serviceable

Also took out my front coilovers and popped in my stock front struts for the time being. Reverse rake Pssssh

18x8.5+48 = 18= Diameter of rim 8.5 = Width of rim +48 is the offset

Im just gonna do a rough description of offset. The higher the offset the more the wheel tucks into the fender. The lower the offset the more the wheels sticks out past the fender.

Hey guys!
Do you know what this clear plastic guard is called?

It goes right behind the rear doors more specifically.
I want to buy a replacement for my car, so I went to a couple dealerships to get a quoted price.
To my shock, each piece retails for about $62!
One of the guys in the parts department offered to sell it to me at the wholesale price for about $50, but it still seems a little too much considering that its only a clear piece of plastic film.
I have tried going on SubaruGenuineParts.com, but with no avail.
Do you guys have any suggestions on how I can get something like this?

Isn't that just clear mask film, like 3M or Ventureshield? I have my whole front end wrapped in it to protect from rockchips.

I Should of asked this before but which axles you got the A1 cardone or apwI? Are the axles solid or hollow?

That's what my car just looked like. I shoulda took a pic. People with other cars were still stuck after they shoveled them out. And I just brushed my car off and got out no problem. I got a few weird looks cuz I'm lowered and on 18's still.
