Rallisport headers so I can sound like a wrx/sti, a wrx cb, wrx lowering springs. I guess I'm a poser ricer. Can't wait for Travis to start crapping on me to.

Back on topic. Pic above^^ 35% tint fronts, 20% in back. Looks really dark with the all black interior. 7+ months no tickets.
1) Yes, you are a ricer.
2) That is nice height for just WRX springs! Did you do just springs or springs and struts? Any comments on the new ride?
3) UEL headers, major rice!
4) You even swapped out for WRX body kit, RICE!

That Lightning Red is beautiful!
I hate the fact that Canadians get the WRX body on 2.5is and we don't. What gives? What's the reasoning behind that? They could save more manu. costs by having fewer body styles .

Your setup is awesome though.

Thanks a ton for the complements, just the springs for now, had them for a half summer and this winter. Tight ride compared to stock. Shock are holding up strong. Still needs a RSB though. No modding in the winter, so I have money and plans set aside for the summer.

Edit:: those are epic engineering springs for the wrx. Lowers the car and much stiffer.

Body is stock Canadian, still looking for a cheap sti wing though. Carbon fiber grill soon to come. Headers and exhaust are be best thing about my car, heaps better than anything else.

I had no idea until I bought the car that we had different models than the US. It's a real same for some. But it just pushes you guys to mod your cars to an even higher level.

Let me point you to this thread, where you'd have much better luck.

Sellars21, you used OEM WRX springs right? I have a buddy who just took out his whole setup. I might be able to snag those.

Negative, epic engineering lowering springs for the wrx. Quite a bit stiffer than most lowing springs from what I've read.

My OBS started its life in my hands as a salvaged car, and according to the mechanic, they redrilled the transmission mount holes, so over time, the constant accel/deccel make the Original holes and redrilled holes closer, and now its just one elongated hole. So when acceling/decelling, you can hear the tranny moving back and forth.

At the moment, I am repairing it so I can sell it off or may even part it out for some locals.

Yup, the WRX is the first stick car. For me though, apparently to locals, I learned pretty damn fast. Got it down within 2min, but stall like once every two weeks so far?

I do love the WRX, don't get me wrong, but i've had so much more **** with it now from both Cops AND racer boys at my school.

Can you guys tell me how someone would go about getting a tune from sti mikey? Everything's over the Internet? Do you have to send away your ECU?

My mod list is enjoying my car then buying a wrx or brz. I'm not going to put a bunch of money in to a car to make other people believe it more than a 2.5i. Alone it's a great car, and I've said it before its not the spoiler it's that it's an sti spoiler. If any other car brand enthusiast did a similar thing it would be rice it doesn't magically go away for subarus. The kid down the road with his lancer and an evo spoiler is rice just like the guys with v6 mustangs with gt badges. It's trademarked to the car and we don't have that car. Now go ahead and flame away for me being honest about what I think.

You should definitely do that, you will feel the extra horsepower. And in addition to that, maybe you should buy a civic and wait for vtec to kick in with herra large wing, and herra roud exhaust with whistle tips. Theres a kid I know who does 0-25mph pulls in like 10 seconds(?) herrrrrrrraaaaa fast.

Maybe get a Flux Capacitor while your at it.
So a civic with a big wing that doesn't belong on it is rice, but an impreza with a big ass wing that doesn't belong on it isn't. That makes sense.

But the wing is an OEM part and wasn't modified to fit the car either.

I wasn't "flaming" you for having an opinion. I was simply remarking on the fact that he became a ricer for simply adding a piece that is unique to the STi, but never claimed to be an STi. With that mindset, we should all keep things stock.

The wing isn't oem for this car. If you saw a picture of just that spoiler what would you think. Not to put words in your mouth but most of us would say sti. Now that small point right there is how I see him counterfeiting. Not to mention his front lip actually trimmed to fit our cars. So with your logic the spoiler is fine but the lip isn't.

What...? I think "rice" is an over the top poorly executed modified car. Having a wing may not be everyones thing but you can't say that Daigle's car isn't done cleanly. Their is nothing on the car that looks poorly hacked. When seeing that spoiler I think STI because that trim of Impreza is equipped with that body part, duhhh....

There's a difference between voicing your opinion and insulting someone you don't even know (for no good reason btw). If you disagree with his mod decisions then tell everyone your opnion and leave it at that. Throwing out a childish insult like "this car is the definition of rice" just makes you look like a prick.

@dangle- honestly even though I'm not a fan of the wing, your 2.5i looks clean. Keep up the good work.
