I do a lot of work myself, but for the cams I got a local Scooby specialist to install them. I couldn't afford the downtime, and i'm lucky enough to be in the position where I can afford to pay someone else to do it. Plus I don't have an engine hoist. Figure around 7 hours labour for a competant mechanic (including pulling the engine).

Wow that sounds expensive haha. I was going to install them with my friend however it must have been nice to not have to worry about. If you don't mind me asking how much did labor end up comin out to?

So my front bumper cover took a beating from the winter. Thinking about replacing it this summer. Any recommendations on where I should buy a pre-painted one at?

Just multiply your chosen shop's labour rate by 7 hours, assuming they can turn it around in that time. In my area it's anything from CAN$75-$100.

No the actual bumper. Sorry, I came from the euro scene where everyone called the front bumper, a bumper cover.

That's what it's supposed to be called. The actual bumper is the metal and foam "bumper beam". No need to apologize.

Or just modify H9 bulbs... Cheaper and more usable light than HIDs

Silver stars may look brighter but that's because they give off a blue hue because they're actually coated, and NOT producing more light. Just get some regular H9 bulbs and you'll wonder why you haven't done it before. Not to mention a pair cost less than $20.
