Yeah, maybe I'll look into doing a ground control conversion they recently came out with an 04+ impreza so maybe I'll shoot an email. I'm mainly looking to go little lower so that might be best bet

Man that wiring sounds like a huge pain in the ass. I routed mine through the front fender into the grommet under the driver side wheel well liner. That was a much easier than what you just described with half the dash out! It was a very fat 4 gauge wire too.. that grommet is big and relatively easy to get to inside and outside.

Koni and Ground Control is a game winning combination. I'm planning to get on of their kits once the season ends.

I removed most of the dash just looking for another grommet on drivers side. I didn't have to do it. It's not so bad now. Wire comes from battery, similar to yours and now runs along the firewall. Two wires enter the cabin, the other wire was coming from passenger side A pillar on the outside anyway. Up to the passenger side of rack and basket setup.

So what your saying is keep the konis sell the h&r springs and get the ground control coilover conversion?

I'll be selling my KSport coilovers soon, they're a little rough because of the winters up here and they took a bit of work to get everything loose but everything moves fine now.

I'm running tein super street with the camber plates, the ride is stiff but my only compliant would be they don't go low enough

Shorter coilover springs, shorter shock bodies, droop the spring, lower profile tires (friend went from a 245/45/17 which is a pretty tall tire to a 215/40/17 on his new rims dropped him almost another inch)... My only complaint about coilovers for our cars is non of them have rear camber plates or atleast not any that I know of.

Also I heard the inverted BC's blow out faster than the normal BC's but dont quote me on that.

When I lowered mine that was my main concern that there wasn't any toe/camber adjustment in the Rear I ended up buy the spc camber & toe kit which set me back $500 or so

You're correct. And that's because the struts really have no control over camber anyway.

Yes. Maybe grab some camber plates, but that's up to you.

What do you need a rear camber plate for?

The bumper does bolt up but the side skirts don't you need to modify your side panel under the door to clip the side skirts to the panel so they don't drag

Narrow body wrx bumpers should fit, since it is the same body as the 2.5i with more styling.

Oh I dont know....maybe to adujst camber. Positive camber I want more of it. I know I would need control arms for that, but I dont want to drop that much money. I know even if there were rear camber plates for our cars they wouldn't do anything because of how the back portion of the suspension is designed.

The rears are shocks.

I saw some super expensive Msi rear camber plates on rallysportdirect the other day.

Why do you need more positive camber? Are your tires wearing to much with your current setup slowscoobie?

You know they won't do anything. But you want them anyway?

I think he's saying he wants to get positive to negate all the negative camber that happens naturally.

Gdspliff- you mean attach them to the car? Lol. I'm pretty sure the wrx sideskirts use oem clip in spots to attach, which our cars do not have (at least on the US models)

Yeah buddy thank you I had to make holes so I had somewhere for the clips to go and then I painted those holes black to make sure rust doesn't develop quick since I live in New England aka Mass Hole and our plow drivers suck at plowing and sanding the streets I try not to use my car too much I use my 04 wrx since my 09 2.5i is on bags

Hit the nail on the head with that one. Since he's lowered, the natural negative camber may be too much. Causing clearance issues and other stuff.

Same reason why I had my adjustable control arms. With the height I was at, my rear camber would have been almost -3 degrees. Used the adjustable arms and brought it to -1.

I was thinking about getting the '09 WRX narrow body bumper with that lip looking think molded into it at one time.. Anyway, I did notice that it would fit, except the wheel well liners also either need to be replaced, or modified to fit correctly. They are different on those cars, they are a different shape on the bottom front.
