I think its all a matter of if you like performance or comfort when it comes to suspension

I know that I like how it rides now that's why I have no idea about spring rates I'll hit them up for suggestion and I'm at a happy medium with performance and comfort I would like a little more performance though and a little more low.. Lol

Stiffer isn't always better. You gotta match the the suspension to the surface. It's difficult to make a comparison since the H&R springs are progressive. But I have been very pleased with my 217/194 set-up. I think a 4k/5k (224/280) would be a very comfortable solution. But it depends on the roads that you usually drive on. If your roads are super bumpy, you'll want something soft. But if they're super smooth, you'll want something stiff. If you can't get a perfect match, I believe that it is better to be softer rather than firmer.

And a list of known spring rates.

I know I've posted this before. I feel like it is a good starting point for research.

Also keep in mind that you probably won;t see exactly the same results. Our N/A cars are about 200 pounds lighter than their F/I counterparts which everything is designed for.

And to sound like a total noob, progressive spring rate means? Rate changes as springs compresses unlike other springs that the rate is the same no mater what?

Has anyone had any success with sport mesh grills off ebay? If so can you link me too the one you have?

I'm kind of interested in this... but Im afraid it will look cheap. Also how would I go about mount my subie badge on it?

Email GC nothing back yet, but what about h&r Street coilovers they run a progressive spring and shocks valves to match them? Should be similar to current set up.

If its similar why are you getting a new setup?

You are probably at or slightly below the correct height for optimal performance.

A progressive spring will get stiffer as it is compressed. A linear spring will maintain it's stiffness.

For example, if you put 10lbs on a linear spring and it compresses an inch. If you put 20lbs on it, it should compress 2 inches. 30lbs, 3 inches, and so on. 10lbs on a progressive spring may compress it an inch. 20lbs may compress it only 1.5 inches. 30lbs, 1.75 inches.

Progressive springs are designed to be more comfortable than linear springs. They're not exactly ideal for performance applications.

That looks a lot like the C-mod grille that I got a while back. I was not very impressed with it. Super cheap, and it did not fit very well.

I don't think that the dampening on the coilovers will be as good as the Konis. But I don't have any experience with H&R coils.

I have also noticed that GC kinda sucks at replying to their emails. You kinda gotta poke them a couple times before they reply. Not the greatest thing, but when they do reply, they're good.

You should just save your money and take a good month or two to decide what you really want to do instead of just throwing money at your car to make it "cool".

Working on sketches for a fender flare/body kit. ONLY DRAWINGS at this time, may become plans if they are good, they do look STI-ish but with Polo WRC style fenders.

If you want supertones but don't want to flaunt them, why not paint them black?
