The charging voltage is at 14.3 when idling and around 14.8 when driving (depending on what's running) and it's a very loud metallic rattle coming from under the hood, possibly from under the car, but it doesn't sound like a heat shield, its louder than that. And I only have about 57k.

If you fight for it, insurance will cover the difference in value of a clean car to it now having an accident in its history causing it to depreciate even more.

Probably rear window motors are wearing out and a blown gasket.

Hey guys and girls. Thought I would introduce myself. I live in the northeast. Just bought my first Subaru after the transmission went in my Jeep. I got a used 08' outback sport with 80k miles on it. It came with a 5speed which I am loving. Has a few paint chips I want to get repaired before winter, but other than that she is in great shape. Anyways, excited to be apart of the nasioc community. Enjoy the photo.

Just do the hybrid while you're at it. You shouldn't need a tune that way.

About a year ago I brought my car in for body work, insurance company gave me a Hyundai Sonata, for 5 days. It was extremely well equipped. 200hp, Bluetooth, and very quiet cabin. I eventually starred to like it. When I finally got back into my Subi, everything felt like a small, bumpy go cart that was severely under powered. This feeling went away after a few days back, but has anyone ever felt like this?

When I was working I was a Fiat salesman and those cheap little s*** boxes drive like sports cars. Sure they are slow but I'm more impressed by a good handling car than speed. I'd never own one, maybe the Abarth! But even the base model (Bluetooth, cruise control w/ 5speed, radio controls on steering wheel, top notch fit and finish, etc...) is 1000x more fun than when I owned a 2.5i on wide sticky tires and coilovers!

Finally took a short vid of my '08 premium sedan MT w/custom catback and nameless muffler delete. Video does the low notes no justice and pipes seem to be a bit more broken-in now. Vid was taken mid august with the setup about a week old...

Before this one, someone smashed my rear quarter panel n was given a well equipped Chevy Malibu as my rental. It was comfortable ride and had a lumbar support button lol. I missed my subaru rumble like mad. When I finally got my car back I went for a long drive. The better mpg n comfort was great but I love my car.

Quick question. Will only '08-'10 WRX suspension fit in my '09 or will the '11-'13 also fit? And hatch and sedan is the same, correct? I'm talking strut/spring combo.

Yes, 08-14 WRX sedan or hatch spring/struts are interchangeable.

I'm not sure which car you drove but on my ex's 500 sport, even with the sport mode on; it did not handle very well tbh. Plus the shifter was super sloppy (needed a short shifter and bushings really bad) lol.

08-10 will fit the best and allow more negative camber if you need it. 11+ will also fit but you will lose some negative camber ability (this is due to the wider track on the 11+ so the suspension is very slightly different in specs). If you actually bolted on a 11+ suspension setup you would actually have positive camber

IMO if the price is right, either are great choices but I would aim for the 08-10 setups.

I think the 11+ suspension is actually a bit higher too. I know when Xluben put in 08-10 donor struts/Konis into his 11 it was actually lower then if he had used 11+.

The camber that Kart is talking about is correct also.

Havok... are you just wanting to put in an 11+ setup OEM or are you planning on getting Konis? Springs?

That's the Konis doing that. Koni shocks are not gas filled like the stockers are. They don't aid the spring in pushing up the car.

My car also sits a little lower after installing Konis.

I think the actual strut housing though is shorter on the 08-10's.

Every time you change the ride height it's very very highly recommended to get an alignment with the WRX suspension lowering the car our non-adjustable rear end will go slightly more negative (not enough to cause uneven wear) and the front can be corrected.

And Fiats handle great! With the short wheelbase it ruins the handling above 45/50mph but I do agree with the shifter being sloppy.

I have to agree. When I was looking for a car, I test drove a Fiat a few days before I was supposed to pick up the WRX, and once I drove it, I was thoroughly impressed. Most people would give that little ****box some ****, but once you get driving it. all you can say is Damnnnnn!. :lmao:

Camber isn't going to kill tires. It's toe. Toe goes all out of whack when the height changes and it can be adjusted in both the front and the rear.

Also, Fiat 500 a good car?

A lot of racing organizations don't allow them due to their lack of stability.

Yeah and the airports started turning downs lot of cars because of their instabilities as well.

Its camber when lowering vehicles, top of tire in compared to bottom of the tire is negative camber, if that makes sense

So my car is in the shop again! I was driving and I suddenly lost power. The check engine light and vdc light came on steady and the cruise light came on and blinked. After that the idle felt real sloppy. Im thinking misfire but wont know for sure until the shop pulls the code.
