Look up some DIY headlight baking instructions I found directions/pics to removing the bumper on there. Think it was on iwsti or 3gwrx..?

Under the fender seems like a PIA cause you have to bend the crap out of the plastic stuff.
Just don't man handle the plastic clips. Debris gets in between the slots and acts as a glue kind of. Just be gentle and work it out slowly. I've only had 1 clip break on me, only because I got pissed since I was trying to work it out for 5min~ lol

They will work.

Well the exhuast I had done, drones pretty bad I'm looking to ad one or the other in hopes of reducing noise. Which one will do a better job? MagnaFlow XL 13217 (3 chamber muffler) http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/universalsatinxl.asp Vibrant Ultra Quiet series resonator

If I use the magnaflow XL this is how it should look when installed

I've tried the 18inch Vibrant standard bottle style resonator 2.25 piping and it completely took the drone away (even on the freeway/n including rasp). The sound loudness also was cut down quite a bit. It would only get loud if you go wot. Just my experience with vibrant products.

Didn't you try and get rid of it later on, or do you still have the resonator on?

I'm guessing the magnaflow XL should do the trick since it has multiple chambers, I guess my only other concern is fitment but from looking at the picture I posted below it should fit I have the 4x9 oval 14" body

After chatting with Magnaflow CS via email, I've gotta exchange the magnaflow XL for a universal magnaflow muffler since the Universal has acoustical fiber fill

Can some one clear something up for me, I want to remove the second cat, the one that's on its own pipe with no o2 sensors, is that that mid pipe? Or down pipe if we even have one? And will a wrx one fit? Thanks

That's the cat pipe. You would need a custom pipe to delete the cat.

There are 4 pieces to the exhaust; Headers which have a cat and o2 sensors, Cat pipe which has a cat, Mid pipe which has a resonator, and the axle back which has a muffler(s).

Our second cat in is the cat pipe with no o2 sensor. The down pipe on a turbo model would take the place of that mid pipe and would not fit because we have no turbo to attach to the other side. And does not follow the same path.

Easiest way is to remove the cat pipe and have a shop replace the cat with straight tubing. Aftermarket ones are pricy IMO.

Thanks guys! I had a shop look at it a while ago and they quoted me like 300 for a new pipe which is pretty crazy, I might just get them to remove the cat and put a pipe there but I'm afraid it might sound bad and I'll want to put it back

God really? 300 bucks I got a shop by me that costs $70 a section so just removing cat would be cheap. Best part is its the same price no matter the car.

I think I spent quite a bit I had a buddy that builds drag cars (domestic) do all the work

$265 titanium exhaust
$200 8ft of 304 stainless piping and 3 u bends
$400 for labor
$40 (4) 1/2" 304 exhaust flanges
$80 magnaflow universal muffler (to help reduce the drone)

Gonna get the magnaflow put in next Monday to help get rid of the drone

Anyone replace their PVC valve? Or does it even need to be done. I read that it might be built in for the 09+ but what about the 08
