Does that replace the entire pedal or just clamp over top of the old pedal?

Not trying to be rude here, just constructive criticism.

Try getting the entire car in the frame. Also use the rule of thirds. Whenever you have the wheels turned, make sure you're taking a picture of the face of the wheel. As opposed to the tires.

What gear are you using? Do you have a circular polarizer?

If you could care less that's cool too. Just trying to be helpful.

yeah I understand thanks, I actually just bought a Nikon D5100 and I am in a digital photography class in college so during one of my breaks I decided to go someplace and play around with the camera.
I just have a 18-55 lens with a uv filter on it.
I thought that one where I didn't get the whole car was just a cool look.
I will keep in mind about the tire thing because this was my first "photoshoot" that I have done, so I will defiantly take all of your advice.

To clarify, no photo is a "bad" photo. It's all personal preference and art. Certain photos just look better than others.

The 18-55 is probably sharpest at f/8 through f/11. Try shooting from a distance at the 55mm focal point. This will separate the background from your subject (the car) and make for a much nicer photo.

The 5100 is a great starting point. I shoot Nikon myself, so if you have questions shoot me a PM.

I was shooting in manual mode because that's what we are learning in class, so I was adjusting until it looked good to me and wasn't over exposed or under exposed.

When you say shooting from a distance, do you mean like the last photo? because I defiantly think I was at 55mm for that one.

That's what the guy told me at the store that the 5100 is a good/moderate starter camera. I really appreciate it man, I will defiantly PM you if I have any questions or anything on the camera itself or about shooting. Thanks man!

Be at 55mm focal length, but fill the frame with the rule of thirds. At 55mm on a DX sensor you are equivalent to 82.5mm (55 x 1.5 = 82.5mm).

Here's an example with my car. Shot with my 50mm 1.8d prime.
