Is rallisport the only company to make direct fit uel headers for 08+ 2.5i? $665 seems kinda steep...searching the forums with my nasioc app, not the most user-friendly method...

It's an expensive sound mod. Put that money towards suspension or wheels/tires. Just some friendly, unsolicited advice

Appreciate the insight, yes I've pretty much conceded to the fact that there isn't much power-wise to do to these cars. I'm okay with this, since my other car is a modded Si. Bought the 2.5i strictly for the snow (not a truck kinda guy). Nevertheless, I ended up doing a nameless delete/custom catback and just looking to complement the sound with uel (but not for $700 bones, if I can help it)...swaybars in the spring for sure though.

Plus our Subarus are better in the snow than trucks

Back when I bought mine it was 560$ lol money well spent, well at least to me it is. That's really what it comes down to. I couldn't drive my impreza without the rumble something bout that rumble makes me smile every time I step in or out.

I'm pretty sure any ej25 headers will bolt to the engine but will not line up with the rest of the exhuast (I think this was discussed only a few pages ago or so it seems like). Also if you compare pricing to aftermarket headers for the wrx/STI $675 is relatively cheap for very good quality. Unless of course you think no-name ebay headers are good quality

You can always fit a 20" magnaflow instead of a resonator

hypothetically, you COULD modify OEM headers, or Legacy OEM headers and add a tube to make it unequal. There was a DIY done a year or two back. Pretty interesting read.

The only issue with going DIY is you will have never ending CEL. However, even with the steep pricing of the rallisport UELs, it is possible to get a CEL still as the O2 sensor positioning changes.

IMO, save the money, put it into suspension mods, and learn to drive your car. The "driver mod" makes a night and day difference.

Nope, the car was road tuned, not dyno tuned.

I would imagine taking out the catback and swapping out the stock resonator with a high flow would bring out the sound alittle more
