Been confirmed it weighs a whooping ~60lbs more But makes more hp/tq and holds the power throughout most of the rev range. Also they compared its handling to the BRZ which eats cars with more than double the power in auto-x events all day.
Also LED headlamps is sooo awesome, who needs HID'S?

And have you all seen the interior photos?! It's finally up to date and doesn't look like a cheap rattle can like our cars!

Maybe they are holding out on the hatchback to maybe bring the Levorg here as a substitute for the wrx hatch?

January it'll be announced and it'll have a 2.5l engine.

I think sedan only is Subaru's response to offering a hatch only STI between 08-10 but I'd expect a hatchback available in 1-2 years.

I got a free Subaru replacemnt battery while still under warranty. The oem battery is terrible. It died on me numerous times while in cold temperatures up in Tahoe I wouldn't skimp out on a battery if I were you.

I am not sure about the '08's, but the owner's manual for my '09 OBS notes the Timing Belt (Camshaft Drive Belt in the manual), notes it should be changed at 105,000 miles (168,981 KM)...

The dealer threw in a new battery when I got my car... will see how it holds up to the winter. Worst case I'll just go to Costco and get something better, never had any issues with their batteries.

I get my car batteries from Sam's Club and are by far the best price vs the dealer and auto parts stores. The return/exchange policy is easy. I never had any problems with them in several different vehicles. They all have lasted longer than OEM and reliable in both the summer and winter months. I can't vouch for Costco but I'm sure it is the same as Sams Club.

Yes sir its basically the same. That's exactly why I buy from Costco/Sams club. I just got back from Costco and on my way home to install it. Guess ill be the guinea pig, I have no doubts this battery will last me a while.

How the **** do you disconnect the front sway bar? It just spins... never loosens.

Trying to reinstall the OEM struts... what a nightmare.

Your doing it wrong. Don't touch the sway bar 2 bolts in bottom and the 3 under the hood, that is it! Then with a big pry bar pull the a-arms down and slide the old suspension out and new in. Watch out for the axles! In the rear same thing but 2 in the trunk and 1 on the bottom.

The OEM struts are so long. Trying to disconnect stuff to relieve pressure on the a arm. My 140lbs on the hub isn't dropping it enough to get the OEM strut back in. Don't want to re install these racelands.

Found out how to disconnect the sway bar but it keeps angling the bolt, pressure wont subside even if I jack up the lower arm. 2 hours and haven't gotten anywhere. Re installing both rears took no time.
