Where did you put your breaker bar in? Below the axle...? Angled from the bumper side side of wheel well or door side?

Inside the a-arm and forget if I had it towards the front or back of car, it's been awhile! Probably the rear because the caliper might get in the way?

They're Depo 7-color gauges. http://deporacing.us/

Water temp on the left. Sensor is in the upper radiator hose via hose adapter.
Oil pressure is on the right. Sensor is in a sandwich plate.

I'm still on the original battery. No issues. I had to replace the battery on my old car, I got one from AAA. If it ever failed, they would come to you with a replacement.

Is there a difference between the temp from the hose rather than the block, also what plate did you use, passport or misimoto?

I'm looking for a remote car starter, I know nothing about them there is one on eBay for 99 bucks that uses the oem fob, do I need the transponder bypass kit? Is it a difficult install?

I'd imagine that the temps are different. I won't get a reading unless the thermostat is open. I went with the hose adapter because it was easy.

The sandwich plate was just some generic thing that I think I got off ebay.

Everything was installed at 30k in May 2011. Still working great after 1.5 years and 50k miles.

So the Racelands handled better than OEM?

They're okay if you're barely lowered. Mine are blown after 6 months of being maxed out. Not worth the money/hassle. Go for BCs atleast, these are junk.

blown

Hey everyone,
So I am new here, and love to modify my car (so far done projector retrofit, fog lights, and other minor changes,) and was looking into changing the standard exhaust in my 2009 subaru impreza 2.5i 5 Door. I wanted a deep sound without breaking the bank. I found this on amazon, after hearing another subaru with them in, and was wondering if this would work on my car, due to the 5 Door only having one muffler.

Thanks for all the help, and again, I have never done exhaust work before, so I might be totally off on what I'm posting.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Race lands gave the car better handling but obviously bouncier. Were only installed for a week since they sent me rear coilovers that were seized. Bought H&rs that arrived on Friday but sending them back tomorrow too since you need to use OEM top hats, OEM dust boots and OEM bump stops... $1330 for an incomplete kit, no thank you.

So I guess I'm keeping my Subie stock after all...

Either buy some BCs for $1000 or Stance's for $1200, they're actually worth it for the quality and lowness.

You should buy some Koni inserts, with some reputable springs (i.e. RCE, H&R, Eibach, etc).

The problem with buying low-end to mid-range coil overs is exactly what you're already running into. Chances are you won't be satisfied with BCs or Stance kits. If all you are going for is look then those may be for you. If you want a solid performing car and reliability/quality to back it. Get a solid strut and spring combo. Or save your pennies for a $2k set of coil overs that do what you want.

BC's are complete kits? No assembly required or having to rip apart your OEM struts to use parts?

Fancy, yeah just going for looks. My other car is for handling and more fun driving.

Stance' handles great too. But yes both are complete kits with dampers for hard/soft ride. The stance's go lower but the BCs will have you tucking almost stock rim maxed out.

Downhill: This is lowered 3+ inches on Racelands. BCs go a little lower than this but obviously the ride quality is way Better. Don't think you'll need to go lower than 4" anyway haha.

I'm surprised that no one is jumping on this... That's a hell of a deal for a solid set-up. And all the hard work is already done.
