Default Need a few opinions.....

i have a 2006 san remo red wrx.... its an amazing color unfortunately i am having an incredibly hard time choosing the color of wheels that i am looking to get. I want to get the work xd-9 in 17 x 8.5.... they come in 2 wheel color choices matte grey and matte bronze.... if possible can i get some opinions or even maybe a photoshop a pic if possible thanx i supplied some pics.. any other wheel or color suggestions are totally welcome, haha i have an open mind for wheels right now...

Damn...that is exactly the wheel and size that I wanted to get for my STI.
Unfortunately, they won't clear the Brembos with the proper offset. Maybe I will get the 18"s.
I think that the silver wheels would match the bright red car better.
Although the XD-9s do look particularly good in bronze.

What vendor are you going to use ?
You may wanna go to the Work website and confirm that they are an authorized distributer.
If the vendor is not authorized, allegedly Work will not warranty the wheels.
According to an authorized vendor on Nasioc.

haha i got ya i havent really decided where i am going to get them yet i may be getting a nice price on them through a friend who is an authorized work dealer...

I really want to find some nice 17x8" that clear the Brembos.
With Jersey roads being so crappy, I think that 18"s would get trashed.

Matte grey 100%. Lots of men see the color red differently from one guy to the next FYI. Guys who say go bronze dont see the full color spectrum. Again, matte grey 100%. Trust me, I once worked in a kodalux lab.

i talked to rallisport they will clear brembo's but you need to shave them down a little bit i was told..
