Default Boost controllers with the Apexi Power FC

Since I practically can't search for boost on this forum, I'm gonna give up searching and just ask people. What are you using to control your boost with your Power FC. To my understanding, the Power FC can't control the stock solenoid over stock settings. I'm using a Perric EBCS and I seem to be having the same problem. It seems like my 16g won't go over .9 bar. So now I'm considering other options. I know I can get the boost controller for the Power FC and there's also the AVCR and HKS EVC. If a manual boost controller is my last option, what other options do I have before that?

I run a Perrin mbc and it is ok. You just have to be careful as it will change with the weather. Set it under a hard load too. The AVC-R is popular if you want to go ebc, or just order the add the boost control kit to your Power FC. I am currently getting my Prologger setup which is an ebc, wideband, and failsafe in one unit. Havn't tried the boost control yet.

You can control boost as high as 21psi with a PFC and stock solenoid.
When you go into the boost setting, raise the duty cycles hight, as well as target boost. It will overshoot the target boost, but do to high dudy cycles it will have a hard time bringing boost back down.
Its like tricking the PFC, but it works, and works very well.

Intersting snowman, I'll have to play around with it.

I'd love to get the boost control kit, but it's $$$.
