Exclamation Engine Overhaul

Alright TXIC, tis be time to help this NoOb get legit. I have a very rough idle(well rough everything) and a nice pearl color(like oil in water) on my number three spark plug. As much as I would hate to jump to the conclusion that my rings are done and oil is getting into my chamber, I am down to the wire and need to get this fixed, for it is very annoying to get pwned by freaking civics and other such cronies, especially Scions (blegh)! Anybody know of a recommendable shop to do an overhaul or anything major like that? I need someone to do a compression check stat! Could the Valve gasket allow oil into the chamber? I have seen it on other imports but how often has it been heard on the Scooby?

First before assumptions. How is your boost, do you still hit full boost and have the same spool up? Are there any new sounds? Because you may need more than just gaskets and rings.

Spool up seems delayed, and it runs quite sluggish as if there is no boost. What else do you have in mind other than gaskets and rings. It also sounds as if there is an exhaust leak coming from the engine bay.

Compression and leak down tests. Post results, go from there.

You have a crack in your ring landing im sure of it. Take off your intercooler to see if you have oil in it. My engine just went through this and there was oil on my engine from the bov and some in my intercooler (the excess pressure and oil was recirculating through my pcv, and the oil was blowing out of the bov). Easiest way to see which cylinder is gone is to take off the header, and look at the one that has excess oil around it.

Engine Logics is the only guys i'd trust, but if you're feeling crazy I have a friend who is selling a complete JDM ver 8 swap for a good price.
