SuperMotards are the best, how much modding did it take to make that bike street legal?

to make it street legal wasnt that bad, $450 light kit, $15 pressure switch, $50 brake & light inspections, and the rest of the DMV associated fees. it took 3 months to get done from start to finish. ive read that it isnt possible to do any more, i got mine finished up a few months before the door slammed shut on it.

My old bike:
![]() 2004 ZX6r 636, bought it new, never regretted it for a minute, far and away best bike I've ever owned. And here's what has currently been taking all my spare monies for the last year and a half. Almost done finally so I can get some mods done to my subi. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Specs: 1979 Yamaha XS650, dropseat/air-ride. Inverted forks, Harley rotors, 240 rear tire, sportster tank, custom frame, ect.... Built entirely by me, was a lot of fun, glad it's finally rideable though. I'm going to tear it down for paint this winter. |
