Default FS: New Tarmac II coilovers 500/400lbs/in 02-07 imprez

Brand new KW Tarmac II coilovers for 02-07 impreza RS/TS/2.5i/WRX and 04 STI but not 05-07 STI. These have never been installed and look, function, smell, and taste brand spanking new. Springs are 500/400lbs/in, ready for track and auto-x. I was contemplating replacing my d-spec/ground control suspension with these but I think that even with the softer 350/300 spring rates, these would be too stiff for my off-road tendencies. MSRP is $1895, I'm asking $1700 shipped in the lower 48, FIRM. I will include some "modified" rear 04-07 tophats for free. I recommend the use of Group N front top hats, but I also have front stock STI tophats for $30 extra.

To recap:
•Brand new Tarmac II coilovers by KW for Racecomp engineering
•500/400lb/in spring rates
•Stock ride height to 2-3" lower
•Fit 02-07 impreza wrx, rs, tx, 2.5i (both wagon and sedan)
•Rebound adjustable from daily driver soft to high speed track-racing stiff!
•2-3 year re-build interval (as stated by Racecomp) and they can be re-built in the USA.

Bump for the weekend. I also have some group-n rear tops that I can modify to work with these struts for $50 extra.

Reasons why Tarmac II's are the sexiest coilovers:

1. stainless steel strut body and CNC's flanges. front and rears are camber-bolt compatible (see picture)

2. Two locking perches (both have set screw) that will never seize and the guts are rebuildable in the USA.

3. Top quality dust boots which nearly completely seal off the piston. These are the best I've ever seen.

4. Tender spring to eliminate main spring rattles on big bumps and keep them in place when you jack up your car. The tolerances between the tender spring, spacer, and main spring are close to further eliminate rattles. Noice the CNC'd and anodized spring perch.

5. Thick, even, and consistent TIG welds made by a German craftsman. These won't break or corrode!

ps. buy these coilovers

I'd guess $100 per corner. Call Racecomp or do a forum search to confirm.

Not any more, they changed the design. Racecomp posted some info about it somewhere

Reservoirs are only on 05+ STi models still. All the others don't require them due to a change in the oil used in the body.

Awesome coilovers here guys ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE MONEY.
