Default need help with width and offset.

i want to go with a 17x8 wheel. leaning towards Enkei RPF1
they come in a 45mm offset, will these fit with out rubbing or needing to roll my fenders? i read through the FAQ that is stickied but all it did is confuse me, so many contradicting posts. also whats the widest tire i could get away with on a 17x8

thanks in advance for all the help

I was looking at the same wheel this morning and found an offset calculator. Based on stock, the wheel is going to stick 11mm more inside the wheel well and 27mm outside than the stock setup. So you could simply turn the wheels one way and crawl under there and see what kind of clearance you had.

Those would be fine. Depending on your suspension you might have some rubbing if you went with 245 size tires. 235 will fit fine, or a 245 if you do a minor fender roll.

....disregarding all the rest of the stupidity and bull**** in this thread already

those wheels will fit just fine and will have no issues as they are specifically made for Subaru fintment...ya might need camber bolts in the back to adjust that if they are close and you are too low

I would put a 245/40 tire on them and be done with it and this thread.
