Default New Subaru owner dropping in!

Just wanted to say "What's Up" to all my fellow enthusiasts! Just picked up my first 'Subi a few months ago: 2016 STI. Absolutely loving the car so far! I've had a few fun rides in years past (05 GTI, 04 GTO, 2010 Jeep Rubicon), but so far, this is hands down one of my favorite vehicles I've ever owned. AWD is out of this world.

I've always been fond of Subarus, and I fell in love with my fellow Marine's STI he bought when we came back from our deployment.

Looking forward to getting to know the community and gaining some knowledge on these awesome rides!

Default Welcome to the forum

Welcome to the forum, nice ride.

I suggest checking out the detailing section where you could get some info on paint protection. I didn't do it but having a black car n all, it would sure help to have something like cQuartz or Opti-Coat 2.0 applied to your panels.

Do you plan to modify it or just leave it stock?.

Welcome to the Suby world! What's your plan with this one, start modding or keep it stock?

I plan to lightly mod it for performance, but since it's still under warranty for now I'll just be sticking to cosmetic mods. It's a really fun car so far. I'm a few months in to my ownership and I love driving it every time I get in it! I'm sure I'll appreciate it even more when I squeeze some more power out of it.

I've already made peace that it'll never be a drag car, and that's fine with me, because I have a lot more fun going around the bends
