Default Help last wiring bits ej20g into 95 Ej18

Ok so I have made most of my splices completed and I think I am missing something. I hope that if I screwed it up, one of you wiring gurus will catch it before I put everything back together.

Car is a 95 Impreza Brighton, Ecu and Harness are for an ej20G Sti. Version 2 i think...

Any how these are the wires I have left to deal with. If you can help me at all with this I will be super greatful.

THe following I have the color of the wire and Labeled it as it was labeled on the wiring Diagram. If it was possible I included the ecu pin as well

Wires left on Chassis side of harness from 95 Impreza Brighton. :

1.Yellow Wire- Power to ignitor

2.Yellow Wire/Red Stripe- Power ECU to FICD solenoid, Purge control

3.Red Wire/green stripe-Shield Joint Connector Reference to ecu. PlugE30 Pin11

4.Black wire/white stripe-Trans Identifier Pin to plug E29 pin17

Wires Left on Ej20G harness:

5.YellowWire/black stripe- Ecu to purge Control Solenoid Valve. From ECu connector B44 pin 6

6.BlackWire White Stripe silver Dots-From Main RelayPin #1 to Injector Ground

7.White Wire Blue Stripe- (not on wiring diagram that I have) Comes from Connector B43 Pin 12

8.Yellow Wire Silver Dots: 1 wires, splits to 3 seperate wires, same color Ignition switch to diode, ignition switch to fuel pump, (third wire not identified)

9.Yellow Wire, RedStripe- Main relay Pin #4

So I know this should be easy and the answers are probably right in front of my face. But these are wires that I couldn't find a direct match for. So any help you can offer woud be so much appreciated. Its been 21 months since I drove this thing.

Ok So I have been poring over the wiring diagrams for about three hours straight and I think I have a few conclusions. Again please let me know if you can help at all

Wire # 3. above I believe is not needed. From the ej18 diagram this looks like it is a california only model, which my car is not. I am going to recheck tomorrow, since that wire shouldn't even be on the other side of the connector. Diagram says it goes to fuel pressure and fuel temp sensor in California.

I believe #2 and # 9 above go together I do believe #5 may be tied in as well

#1 and #8 need to be spliced

I cannot find a MT/AT identifier pin anywhere on the Ej20g ecu Pinout. Found the neutral position sensor but not the Identifier pin. Can anyone confirm or give me a pin number?

Still working on wires 6 & 7.

Please any experience would be appreciated

4.Black wire/white stripe-Trans Identifier Pin to plug E29 pin17

On the 95 Wrx Harness Engine:

5.YellowWire/black stripe- (corrected) Ecu Connector B60 pin 5 Starter INterlock Relay

6.BlackWire White Stripe silver Dots-From Main RelayPin #1 to Injector Ground

7.White Wire Blue Stripe- B59 pin 134 from diagram i have- IP Light SES?

Ok so I am pretty sure I have finished.

My remaining wires were:

B112-pin 4 Yellow/green from starter interlock Relay to 5th injector. Of which I don't have either so that isn't used

mentioned above B44-pin 6 yellow/black also to the starter interlock relay, and again noot used.

after that I had one more hanging out in the rats nest (figurative and literal, long story) after I finished. It was B96 pin 11(B116 pin 30 depending on the diagram) but it says that it is the throttle pedal switch. again I didn't have any where for it to go. But what does the the throttle pedal switch do for the ECU? Is it part of the 5th injector system or what? and Will not having it attached give me a CEL ( not that I am too worried about it)

Silentt, I can't thank you enough for that lil tool.

Matt, I tried to call you a couple of times this week to no avail.

6.BlackWire White Stripe silver Dots-From Main RelayPin #1 to Injector Ground - Looks like a ground wire to me -- splice into nearest ground
there is a fundamental problem with this statement ...its a pull to ground system
injector grounds are the wire that goes to the ecu (b44-7-11) the other side is switched power off the main relay

Did you get a new number? You didn't come up on the ID. I've stopped answering unknown numbers because the telemarketers have been hassling me a lot recently...

From what I have found, the W/L wire is for an EGT warning light. It seems to only be present on the Version 2. Additionally there is a G/B wire that runs into a check connector that I have not found any documentation on. I recently had a harness that had an extra relay located near the fuel and main relay that got it's signal from the ECU via a Y/B wire and then ran into the engine harness what once again there was no documentation on.

What does the connector to that relay look like? and how many wires does it have?

It is a standard 4 pole relay. Two poles have heavy guage Yellow wires going into them off the same as the Fuel Pump relay. The Y/B wire coming out of the ECU runs in and then the other running out runs into the engine harness.

have you been able to track it on the other side of the engine harness?

also, can anyone ID a black/white striped wire from pin E30 14 on the 1.8L harness?
