Default Sweet, I got some drunk driver busted on my way home

Some douchebag was tailgating everyone, swerving, and driving easily double the speed limit on my way home from work tonight. So, I called the Park Police, and gave them the license plate number, heading, and description of the car. A few miles up the road I see three cruisers with their lights on, and the douchebag pulled over.

The best part about it? It was right in from of the Park Police headquarters on GW parkway. Mmmmm, drunk driving on federal property is going to be a fun charge.

I have gotten 3-4 pulled over on my way home from work... It feels good. Once the police called me back and thanked me. My penis grew 4 inches that day true story.

I always call in drunk drivers when i see them on the road. I call, give LP number, and stay on their tail for awhile giving the dispatcher their heading. I feel good about it.

I am proud to disclose that i have gotten two people busted. First time i ever did it was the guy literally passed out at the steering wheel for a good 3-5 seconds, and woke up inches from another car.

2nd was the guy swerved over, i honked, and he threw a beer can at me

driving while hypoglycemic is just as bad. Either way, he needs to be off the road.

one time i saw a drunk driver and i tried calling it into the police, he was all over the road and nearly hitting things.

so i followed him into this gas station parking lot while im in the phone with police and im giving them his information. as im doing that the bastard backs his pick up truck up and slams into me while im parked. all this while im on the phone with the police. he takes off and i follow him. he runs threw every redlight doing about 80mph, and i lost him because i stopped at every red light to make sure there wasnt any traffic.

the police went to his house and he didnt reutrn home for 3 days. they put out a warrent for his arrest and he turned him self in. 4600 dollars and almost 2 months later i had my car back on the road.

maybe down their. hell a couple of years ago my buddy got a drunk driving ticket from the park service (national lakeshore) and he "got away with it" pretty good. no bail, he got no points, no ins. hike cuz it was on "fed land"

he just had to get a lawyer and go to grand rapids twice i think. he paid the lawyer about 2000k and the ticket was 300 something...that's it. as it turns out, since it was on fed land, they don't enforce quite the same as state does. i guess they're working on it though.

the ticket though we were drunk tubing down a river and he moved the car into the park's parking lot and the cop spotted him and said he was drunk. he drove through the lot avoiding cars, under the speed limit, even avoided a kid, and the parked right between the lines, which is when officer sanborn asked him to stay in the car. a good story either way.

first of all: posterity.

next, this is unseemly. following TOO closely is what got you into this mess, but following after he hit you DELIBERATELY is the sign to stop.

to make sure there wasn't any traffic. sure

^^ yah, just pretending to not be drunk also. it was my fiances car and a girl in the party was sober and he said as long as we had a sober driver he wouldn't take the car, so at least we had a ride home. that was a f--k of a day. i picked him up from the county jail around 3 in the morning (they transferred him there). i was hung over by then. FTL!!

He must have gotten lucky, it's a Federal offense technically. That means Federal court, and a bunch of cash out of pocket for defense.
