Default STI injector size/flow rating (specifically 2006)

In another thread, I saw a post indicating that there was a change in injector sizes from 2002-2005 to 2006-2007, and I know that's correct for WRX's, but I was wondering about the sizing for STI injectors.

Now according to Unabomber's Injector, Fuel Pump & Fuel Rail FAQ:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1218460

The 02-05 2.0L WRX's injectors rate at 420cc.

The 06-07 2.5L WRX's injectors rate at 560cc.

^^^That makes sense, larger motor, lots of model year changes ect, it makes perfect sense for them to run larger injectors. Here's the only problem I have:

The 04-06 (and 07 supposedly) STI's injectors only rate at 535cc.

^^^In 2006, why would they up the WRX's injector size, to make them larger than the STI's? They have the same 145lph fuel pump, but the STI is obviously running a larger turbo, more boost ect, why would they not upgrade the STI's injectors, to at least the same size as the WRX's? Can anyone confirm if the '06 STI's injectors are any different from previous STI's injectors? Tuned for the same boost, mods ect, are the IDC's significantly different between them?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Arent the 07 STI and 06+ WRX using the same injectors? But in any case, there is plenty of headroom with that sized injector on either stock turbos (VF43 and 13T).

Even though it wasn't listed in the FAQ, I assumed when Subaru went back to using Top Feed style injectors on the STI in '07 they probably used the same injectors as the WRX, that's why I was wondering more specifically about the '06 STI injectors, since IIRC, they're still Side Feed style injectors, if there are any changes from the 04-05's?!?

I agree, if you're running 560cc injectors, you probably have enough headroom for the VF39/43 & TD04-13T, but that margin of headroom narrows a bit for VF39 users on 535cc injectors.

I dont think they were any changes in the STI sidefeeds from 04-06.
