I am looking for a bodykit for a '97 legacy 2.5gt. I know of the Syms kit and the kits offered through ChallengerDeep, but I am looking for some others. If anyone can help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Kevin

sweetlegacy - body kits for the Legacy aren't as easy to come by compared to the Impreza. When you find one, it's usually at an extreme premium. You'll also want to note that the front bumper beam will have to be modified, as well, if you plan on retaining any North American Legacy body part on there, you may have to do a little modification.

Also, alot of the body kits for that body style were done for the wagon mostly. For some reason, the sedan just wasn't as hot an item
(why could that be , does the wagon look better?) |

The previous generation legacy GT-B wagon was by far the most popular model in Japan, however, when the switchover to the B4 current gen body happened, the sales swung around in the B4's favor. Much to Subaru's surprise, and not a positive one at that, since the wagon is a higher priced model that probably generated more profit. On the legacy B4 site, http://www.lumine.net/subaru/legacyb4/ there are several links to the Japanese tuners in the links section. I don't know if any of them accept international orders, but it can't hurt to look. You may be able to convince a distributer here to source the parts for you if you can give them a specific order. It probably won't be cheap, however. Paul Hansen |

Call up Dan at Vivid Racing. And so him pictures and part numbers if you can of the body kits. I know that he can at lot of stuff from Japan. I have gotten all my Legacy Stuff from him, even though mine is a BH. I am sure that he can get what you want.
