Default intake & zorst questions

guys (and girls if there are any) what's a cheap way for me to get a louder exhaust - I don't want deafening but some more rumble would be nice... can i simply unbolt my silencer and get a new cheap one (used or ebay)? I don't feel like going outside to look underneath but wouldn't want to cut the stock one particuarly

I'm not sure how long I'll want it loud so i don't want to drop a load of cash on it in case I don't like it... its commuter car most of the time

I heard there is some kind of intake hack I can do to release a few bhp too - is that true? I might pick up a drop in filter from dyno comp too if they're worth it...

I wish I could do my springs too... but babies are expensive

search "Intake Silencer Removal." It's not going to give you any more power, but you'll hear a bit more on the intake side of the equation.

For pure exhaust noise, get an axleback. I'm a fan of both Prodrive offerings, and you can get them for around $300. They bolt right up to the stock exhaust.

did you check in the SWIC classifieds? www.rallysportdirect.com carries prodrive, and www.daddysscp.com has some other good brands.
