Default The Dyno is up and running!

As of Thursday November 29th, 2007, Precision Tuning's dyno is officially alive. Even better news than that, is that John Shafer has agreed to come aboard and handle the tuning duties. We are thrilled to have John aboard, and expect big things for the future.

We will be doing open source tuning for now. We are waiting for a replacement key from Cobb for protuning. The day it arrives we will resume protuning. It should be here very shortly.

The new building is located in an industrial area, and we have 20 acres of woods behind us so tuning in the evening is not an issue. Please call us at 732-942-0020 to schedule and appointment, or email us sales@precisiontuning.com. We have also set up tuning specific forums on our website at http://www.precisiontuning.com.

Thanks!

Rich

Yea, that whole heat issue is the Township's deal...they love holding up the works.

I will be there early tomorrow, usually I can work around the demand. I try to be there at least 3-4 days a week and Saturday. However, if the shop/schedule needs it, I can be there more often.

If you want send me a PM or, call the shop and we can get you in. If you are in the area, I can make time to tune you tomorrow as well.

Thanks and I look forward to working with you in the future.

John

That we are. The day the key gets here we will resume tuning the accessports. I asked them to overnight it once they have it to send, so hopefully it will be here soon. Scott at Cobb said the beginning of this month, so hopefully he is right.

Hey Rich, how far in advance should I schedule the clutch install? And I presume it will be an all day job?

We only need a day or two. We will need the car for 4 hours or so.

Hey Rich, do you think I should do the Pro Tune before or after the new clutch? Also, would I need a boost gauge for the tune?

After the clutch. It would stink if the clutch started slipping during tuning. I would highly recommend a boost gauge.
