Question I need ideas....

Not completely a subie issue - but many of you know this state better than I do.

I'm having my 1st baby in early Jan...
Expecting mother-in-law to come down from Connecticut for the birth...

She is Cambodian - Great woman but she is limited w/ English/communication (so she won’t be able to travel on her own much).
As she will be here just before the due date (and some time after birth) I need to be able to take her out around AZ....

But Where? Not exactly the best season for the Grand Canyon as the North Rim is closed....

Worried about the drive - Girl/Baby wont/shouldn't be doing much (if any) travel.. Not sure how to show her family around w/o leaving them behind...

Any worthwhile spots that is somewhat close to the West Valley?

Sedona. Wickenburg. Lake Pleasant. Prescott, if the weather's looking decent.
