Default FS 02 WRX Front Brakes (AR)

Front brakes off of an 02 WRX, I did a Brembo swap and these have just been sitting around in my garage. 50k's worth of use on them.

make me an offer, have no idea what the going rate is for them.

Doesn't have brackets, the calipers bolt directly to the hub on the WRX.

actually, it its a two piece: caliper and bracket. standard sliding-piston caliper setup. and yes, you can see both the calipers and brackets in the pics above. still bolted together. he just removed them from the hub without seperating the two. Only the opposed-piston calipers, like the 06+ wrx, and brembo's don't use a bracket.

pads included? how much left on them? (thinking of swapping my v5 STi down to cheaper brakes, to sell the 4pot/2pots n drop the overall price...)

Well thanks for the explanation Neko, like I said earlier, I just took everything off to put the Brembos on didn't look at the stock setup too closely. I will tonight though and take some more detailed pictures.

Yes, pads come with too. Right at 50k on the setup.

Oh and I dropped the rotors off last night to have them "turned" not that I needed to, just to make me feel better about what I'm selling.

haha. you're talking to a man that still uses win2k. still the best in a long time if you ask me, and doesn't take 1+gig of mem just to run the OS smoothly...

Actually, with good pads, a WRX front, Leg-Turbo rear setup should brake just as good probably as a 4pot/2pot around town. However on the track, i'm sure a 4pot/2pot will take the beating longer. And i prefer opposed piston calipers for maintaining even wear and operation much longer over the life of the brakes.

Oh, and they are sooo much sexier sittin under your wheels...

yeah, I had a sale pending but I haven't heard anything from them in 2-3 days

So I tell ya what, 100 bucks for the entire setup. We'll call it 150 shipped. Sounds like a deal to me, if you don't think so PM me an offer. I'll give it till the end of this week, then I'll part.

"if the sale does not fall through"? rsverv is confused... hehe

heck, i'm still in the market for the calipers alone. drop me a line as well if you want to just sell those (assuming you don't sell the whole package). if i buy calipers, and rsverv buys the plates (not usually a big seller there), all you have left is to sell the rotors, which i think sell pretty easily usually..

Yeah sounds like a plan, we'll call it plan B because I just got a PM from the original buyer. I'll let you guys know what comes about.
