Nitto 555R - anyone have experience with these?

I did a search on the 555R and only found 9 thread with very limited info....

I can get a used set of 555R's very very cheap...... used to drag on a NOS Neon (low 14's)....

How would these fare up on the track or the Auto X.... Just wondering...... cause I just bought a set of Kuhmo Victoracer 700 for cheap also.....

They won't be used for the street at all.....

I had some on my Saab 900 turbo. They seemed to be extremely sticky. They wore out really fast too. I don't remember enough to give a review really.

a local DSP guy uses these on his integra .. he has won the class for the last two years ...

oh yeah they usualy last for ~12+ events ... on concrete

From what I hear, they should be great. They may be marketed as a drag tire, but they perform really well in autoxing too.

That's what I figured cause from what I've read they are classed as an R compound.... just the treadwear was higher than most R compound though..... 100 vs 40......

I have them on the front of my civic, and they are VERY sticky once they warm up.

The car handles great with them on there, but they do wear VERY quickly...
