I used to work at an automatic carwash, and especially in the wintertime, they will scratch your car..they get really busy in the winter, therefore the brushes have all the dirt from the previous cars on them.....stay away from automatics, theyre for camrys, accords, and sonatas, etc...

You guys shouldn't be using sponges to clean off your cars, Micro fiber mitts or those lambs wool mitts FTW. Sponges swirl like mad and are old school.
