Post WRX for $400 over invoice!

My hands are bleeding..Ahhhh.
This is my 4th time posting this.
But Garrick and I found a dealer in Victor NY (near rochester) that is charging $400 over invoice for a WRX. No BS. They are the biggest dealer in the country and sell on volume, so they can afford to do this.
Neways... www.vanbortelsubaru.com
Speak with Diana, and tell her that Garrick or I (keith) told u about it. Cancel ur orders at ur dealers charging sticker price!
I feel like a little kid..I want my wrx already

Thumbs up

Yep, this ain't no joke. I also bought my RS from them for $400 over without negotiating... basically waltzed right in & said "I'll take that one." I know other club members that have purchased cars from them & have also been happy.

Don't forget that there are 2 other dealers in Rochester competing with VanBortel. I was able to get a better deal because of it.

Also keep in mind that some bigger companies around the area have special purchase deals with SOA. You can get the cars for dealer cost. 2 companies i know of are Unisys and Xerox. Kodak might be but i'm not sure.

My wife works for Unisys so we got a sweet deal. Check wit your family members that might work for these places.

i don't know about the WRX but my RS that i bought from Doyle Subaru was only $300 over invoice with many more options than the one VanBortel had at the time which was gonna be dealer cost. What i mean to say is that if your willing to do some leg work you could get more car for the same money or a little more. The place i bought mine claimed they could beat VanBortel most of the time. Do i believe that? i can't say. But i did get the car i really wanted for just a few more bucks more than what VanBortel was offering. One more thing to keep in mind is FMV (fair market value) Even thought the cars are only $400 over invoice that doesn't mean thats what the dealer gets. They won't tell you this but they get some kind of incentive from the manufacutuer to move those cars. How else could they afford to give them away to Xerox employees at cost. do your homework before you buy.

they make the holdback which is normally like 3% of the msrp. so that plus the 400, they are making decent money per car. BUT, every other dealer is selling this car at MSRP, and I dont know if the other dealers (which I assume are smaller) are going to be able to supply me with my yellow sedan. Ohh, also I live like 300 miles (no kiding) away I am pretty happy with 400 over invoice
Keith

Edit. Thanks for your info though..I hope I am not coming off the wrong way. I do appriciate your input on this

edit again: What are you takling about garrick?/ I dont get it HEHEHEH

Cool

Damn, if invoice is 3% of the MSRP like Keith says it is, maybe I should buy a couple more of these WRX's & resell them on eBay.
