Default The stock Clarion CD player, is it hard to install?

I've got a 1999 Impreza and I just bought a used stock Clarion CD player (like the one pictured below). Is this thing hard to install? (I have no experience installing audio equipment in cars).

And does anyone know where I can get a manual online for this CD player?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

note the round "din" conector in the photo. it plugs into a headunit that has the changer option. If your deck has the option it will be easy. If not, it will not work.

Yes, Iíve got the stock tape deck/radio that it plugs into.

Does anyone know where I can get the installation manual for this CD player? I'd really like to give the install a try but I need to know exactly what to do, in terms of actually getting the player into the free din. Do I have to take off the dashboard to get this thing secured into the din or is it easier than that?

Thanks.

Well, in MY02 Imprezas, the first step is to remove the drink holder by unscrewing the 2 screws that hold it in (visible when holder is open).
The next step is to carefully pry out (get fingernails under edge or use a padded [soft tape wrapped] screwdriver blade) and off the fascia trim surrounding the audio double-DIN compartment.
Then, the cage holding the audio unit(s) should be visible. If that's what's shown in your picture, unscrew the 4 screws in front and pull it out carefully. There may be a black ground wire attached to the cage, and the antenna and stock wiring harness will be attached to the back of the radio. Carefully remove all those (remembering where they attach), and you should be able to fully remove the cage.
Use short screws through the side of the cage (just like the ones used to attach the radio) to attach the CD player to the cage. Hook the cable from the CD player to the back of the radio.
Now, put cage back in dash, replacing the stock wiring harness, antenna wire, and any ground wire. Screw it in.
Replace fascia.
Replace drink holder.

I don't remember the details of what a MY99 dash looks like, but if it's similar to MY02, the above should work.
