Default JDM tail lights (not mod)

I have a 06 wrx and hated my oem tail lights, so I decided to order some 04-05 tails off the forums. I apparentely got them off some 05 sti, and the seller was in Canada i think. I installed them, but noticed that only the inner most light lights up. I thought it was just a wiring problem, but when i looked closer i saw that there is not even a place for a bulb to go in the middle spot. There's only bulbs on the inside and outside. Then I noticed there is no side reflecter on the tail lights. I'll post pics 2morrow, but I think i might have somehow come up on a set of real jdm tail lights. I paid $50 for them.

What do u guys think, how can I tell for sure. There's no reflecter on the side of the tail light so i'm positive it wasn't a diu mod

Yea, if you got a set that doesn't have the side reflectors - you are lucky for only paying $50. I have had 2 sets of those tail lights over the last year, and they are beautiful.

Yes, on the angle in which I took the picture.

The JDM lights don't have reflectors in them. The USDM lights do have reflectors on the sides.
