Default Meteor shower tonight

Just a little FYI for you guys, there is supposed to be meteor shower tonight peaking around 2AM. There is projected to be up to 120 meteors an hour.

Might have been on the news, might not have, but just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

Northeast is were you'll want to be looking.

You can usually see em every night if you just drive out to BFE past Surprise on Bell.

I stopped looking into the stars after 40 mins of my neck aching. I saw 3 meteors go whizzing by between 1030 and 1110. It was pretty neat. Nothing like 2001 when it was off the chain. The tails had a bright orange color to them at that time...

Yup, I saw a kickass one in 2001.

Unfortunately I couldn't stay up till when it was supposed to be over 120/hr. I had to get up at 5am to go to my Aunt's graduation. I did see some cool ones, as well as Mars.

A friend and I went up the beeline - we had such fun blasting down the dirt roads - we were off road so no flaming allowed - but we got to see more than I ever have in my life in the space of an hour... It was great.
