have you tried compatibility mode? If not chances are you are going to have to wait for an update or run it in a vbox.

i know there's been a few people using windows 10 already so might just be a missing config - do you have the cars_def.dtd as well as the XML?

I've got everything working now, but I need carberry ECUflash defs.
I had RR installer RC1, and it failed to load the logger, just hang with java showing an app running. Installed RC2 (thanks ShinjiML) and it works.

Windows 10 and now it all works, but missing carberry ECUflash defs, so I can't read or write my own vehicle... smh. The story of upgrading but not saving your files correctly.

So essentially my experience with windows 10 is this: you need the latest files. That's it. Re-install the same way. If you don't remember everything you did to get it running the first time, then that's the problem. I did not have to run anything in Administrator mode, just in the normal desktop file manager.

Help!
Since Romraider site has been down for many days now, I haven't been able to download files that I need.
Could someone please PM me:
1) Learning View
2) Ecuflash Def file for 2012 impreza NA (I don't actually know what I need, but Ecuflash complains that I need to download def file for my vehicle)

Thanks!

I'll try to upload the carberry ecu flash defs somewhere, probably on the openecu forums. Or you can pm me your email.

ShinjiML - that file you sent was just for the ecu defs, do you (or anyone else here) have the logger defs?

Logger definitions are included in the zip file. It is in the zipped file "logger_v310.zip" within the large zip file. You'll have to unzip that file and manually add the definition file to the logger. There are 3 versions to choose from: Metric, Standard, and Imperial in both English and German
