I downloaded RomRaider and ECUFlash - However, when I try finding the ECU and Logger definitions I just keep getting links...to links...or its outdated.

Where can I find the right stuff? Maybe I'm just overlooking it.

Windows user, standard (mph, etc), 05 impreza RS. I have an AEM wideband I still need to set up

So I've flipped through, and last info I saw for wideband support, was that AEM UEGO is spotty at best. Has this been fixed at all making it a more seamless use.

I am having the same problem.

But I noticed that when I extracted the files after downloading them they were a .dtd file, not .xml file.

I have read through this and other threads, tried everything stated, and nothing has worked.

What's up with this?

Default EcuFlash

Hi guys,

back in 2007 I had an evo ix and I used EcuFlash to road tune my car.
fast forwarding to today, I own a 2014 WRX Prem. and I am wondering if the process is the same.

I learned years back that my evo (unlike the honda's I previously owned) did not have an on board wideband and I had to purchase an innovate LC1 and go through the installation etc.

Being new to the Subbies, I want to know it I will also need a wideband etc.

thank you ! (very excited to have a car I can tune again !!)

Bump. I just installed the latest Romraider and ECUflash software. I've installed the ECU definitions and they work, but the Logger Definitions do not work. When I open the RomRaider Logger program, as it's starting up it will say "Logger definitions not configured, go online to download new definitions?"

I have done that and extracted the logger defs XML file to C:\Program Files (x86)\RomRaider multiple times, and even if I keep going to "Logger Definitions Location" and try to open the new logger defs XML file it still says "Logger definitions not configured". What's going on here? Thanks.

Edit: Never mind, got it. I uninstalled the program and installed as an administrator. Windows 7.

Need some help.
I am looking for a step by step how to flash an etune. My tuner is going to send me a tune for e85 to get to his shop about 1 hour away of driving. From what I have read most info is for logging and tuning yourself. A video i saw makes it look simple on a 03 wrx but a written step by step or more advice would be a lot of help. I have the tactrix openport 2.0 and latest ecu flash software. Is that all I need?

You need the "white" 4 pin flash block connector as well. Make sure you have the updated Ecuflash definitions installed.

^ It's for an 04 Sti. From what I have read I thought I didn't need any adapters. What I was saying in the other post is that I saw a video of a guy flashing an 03 wrx.

Hello all. So a friend let me borrow the tactrics cable for my 07 Legacy which now has a JDM EJ205.The first issue is there doesn't seem to be any definitions for it on the romraider or ecuflash. I did find the def on github but they are in text file format. could someone please explain the process I need to et them to rom and ecuflash.

I did this Quick Reference guide for "LearningView" if anyone's interested - tried to explain the various fields as short and concise as possible... happy to re-word any of the annotations if they are misleading...

It's probably been covered but I haven't seen so sorry in advance if it has. When you use rom raider can you clear CELs right away with out uploading maps? I'm new to the tuner game so this may be a very dumb question. I'm still staring at timing marks on the harmonic balancer of my '51 so it's taking some adjusting. thanks

If you're talking about a Subaru (ROMRaider and LearningView only support subbies) then just use LV to reset the ECU.
