Default FS '06 STi, 68k, $22k, black, FL

My sales manager is selling his STi. It's a good deal.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...EF:MOTORS:1123

The mileage is high, but he travels the state making sales calls - easy miles. He's not a huge car freak like me. I talked him into the exhaust and reflash when we were up in GA on vacation. Doug at TopSpeed tackled that. I believe the turbo back is catless. The hp numbers on ebay are estimated crank. I remember it dyno'd at 304whp and 334 torque. It's very quick and very smooth.

I tried to talk him into doing some track days with me, but it just doesn't interest him. So it's never been tracked or drag raced. He's very easy on the car and has all work done at the dealer.

About 1,000 miles before the warranty ran out, a chunk of engine block from the oil filter area came loose. Subaru said the block was a bad mold. I agree because it was something that doesn't even have stress and should never break. It was a freak thing they have never seen before. That thing rattled around broke up and caused some issues. So the car has a brand new engine (bottom end, heads, everything) and a brand new turbo - thanks to Subaru of America and Mastro. Will (Opie on nasioc) made sure everything that could possibly of been damaged was replaced.

So it's almost a brand new STi. Well, about 18k miles since the rebuild.

You can call Danny (the owner) at 239-225-5671 or dannyf@playmoreonline.com

no. the mileage is true. the car does have 68k miles. the odometer was never "reset" or anything. being as it was treated as a normal warranty item, i doubt there is even a mention of it on carfax.

i mentioned it because i'd rather have an engine w/ 18k miles vs. 68k miles. especially one that was dealer installed by Mastro. they're really good.
