stuff to do in taos?

so i was thinking about going to live with a friend in Taos for the summer coming up in 08. i'll be 20 and just looking to open my horizons. im just wondering what there is to do out in that beautiful town, for someone my age, and for a suby enthusiast...i will have my car out there too

I have only been to taos a couple of times, but it is small. a small little town with not much to do. it is a tourist town for sure. bunches of good twistys in the surounding area though
a definate change of pace from tri-state

Are you an "outdoors" type person?

Because a place like Taos will bore you out-of-your-skull during the summer if you are not.

Winter is a whole different story.

NM has a pretty healthy Subie crowd, we have meets and cruises often.

the Rio Grande Region SCCA has a few events in Taos, and plenty more around the state....or you can go race with the guys in Colorado.
